Visited today with my mother as I'm visiting from away. The reviews looked alright and so we thought we would give it a go.
The atmosphere was lovely in the store. There was lots of beautiful decorations and some padded benches to sit on while you wait for your food. The lad at the counter was friendly and it was clear this was a family run takeaway. We ordered a wide selection of food and sat down to wait for our order. While we waited we could hear singing coming from the kitchen which I thought was very sweet.
The wait wasn't too long. It's expected for the size of the order.
Got the food home and tucked in. I was shocked at the quality of the duck. It was thickly cut slices of perfectly cooked duck. It was melt in the mouth and very soft and it tasted amazing. My parents both loved their meals and said they haven't had a good Chinese like that since they moved locally.
A great experience and great quality food from all the dishes we ordered.
Only Chinese takeaway that I would use in Whitstable. Amazing food and fast service. The chicken and prawn dumplings are by far my favorite items on the menu with my favourite combination of special fried rice & gravy, would highly recommend!
The only Chinese takeaway I think is worth eating tbh. Food is delicious, great service, highly recommend!!!! The Chili squid is perfect and the deep fried shredded chicken is pretty damn good too.
Just around the corner from our holiday let, we had a selection of mainly vegetarian dishes and fish and it was all delicious, well cooked, tasted fresh, didn't wait too long and a very friendly and polite man at the counter. Very much recommended.
This wonderful take-away restaurant rescued us when Whitstable closed down for the evening at 9pm(!). Quick service and more to the point great food. We had a wonderful picnic on the beach with it.
Easily the best takeaway in the area. The food is always fantastic - especially the satay; which is the best I've ever had. The Kung Po & Szechuan are also AMAZING. Brilliant food, brilliant service. Love this place!
Best chinese in whitstable/canterbury/herne bay area and i've tried em all. Heartily recommend the chai sui pork, shredded chilli chicken, satay beef, chilli salted squid. 11/10, would nom again.
Best take away in the area it's hard to pinpoint which is the best dish pork and chilli is amazing portion size it's more than enough deep fried squid another of my favs chicken chilli salt i mean o could go on ooo satay chicken you must try this
Superb Food. Excellent Roast pork curry. Lovely King Po king prawn. All very tasty.
By far the best Satay chicken I have ever had. wonderful experience, excellent service very helpful and fast ☺️ 10/10 for food 10/10 for service and 10/10 for time
