Booked a table on line got seated upon arrival extensive menu and good value, I read one review that someone was shocked that a Burger meal was ten quid! Well unless you have a Mac d take away a tenner for a 1/4 pounder and all the trimmings is below average prices
The waitress worked very hard to keep us fed and watered, overall a good value lovely meal

A slow start on delivering drinks and taking orders giving time to chat amongst family but the slow start turned out to be well worth it.
Great service great food. One of the best and most perfect to my liking steaks anywhere. All the other meals were top quality. Cheers for making a great evening to finish off my Nephews 18th birthday.
Went there last night for my sister's 50th birthday 9 of us great atmosphere lovely staff great food didn't wait long for the food can't say enough how good it was will definitely be going back and would highly recommend
Ate at the oyster bed today with my wife, daughter, son in law and granddaughter. Had a great experience. The food was very good and excellent value. Nothing was too much trouble for our bubbly waitress Rachael. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.
Won a competition for Free Brunch for 4 - on my birthday! So we went down for our treat, which was lovely, freshly cooked to perfection and very tasty. We all had The Royal cooked breakfast. Service was great. Thankyou so much!

The meat was cooked a bit too much but it was still tender and flavorful. The veggies were nicely roasted and complemented the dish well. The meal brought together all the classic elements of a good roast, and I left the table feeling completely satisfied.
We had 2 Sunday lunches and they were superb. The portions were very generous and was made with quality ingredients. The service as always was friendly, cheerful and super quick. The manager is a lovely girl who always takes time to ask us how we are and are we having a nice day, which always makes us come back. Super job guys keep up the great work 👍🏻
Great to have a corner table. Staff friendly and helpful, food excellent. Table service a little slow but not a problem. Very appreciative of the indoor and outdoor kids area for our toddler
Visited with family, including 2 small children. It was such a nice experience, staff were friendly, the children loved the play area. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful and as a lovely bonus we had a 1/3 off mains voucher. Will most definitely visit with the family again. We’ll done The Oyster Bed
We always come here when we're in the area. The Oyster Bed has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and offers great food for a good price. The staff is friendly and helpful and they serve large portions. We had the pâté starter, a Sunday roast dinner and finally some sticky toffee pudding. Everything was really tasty. We will definitely be back soon!
Great food at great value. Atmosphere good. Nice indoor kids playing area as well as outdoor climbing frame. Service was very slow (c. 1hr from order to food on table) which felt due to low numbers of staff. Ordering food also took time - with 1 person taking all food and drink orders for the restaurant resulting in queuing at the bar for 10 mins to place order. The restaurant wasn't near full during our visit.
Such a lovely place. We walked in to the warmest of welcomes as ever from Courtney who always makes us feel like part of the family! We were seated comfortably and we all enjoyed our food, both mains and desserts but the highlight of our evening was Ollie our waiter who looked after us so well. He was polite, warm, friendly and went out of his way to make the evening perfect for us. He's a real rising star in hospitality and if he keeps that attitude, he'll go far. Thanks for a lovely evening!
We had a lovely waitress called Daisy who covered all bases! Daisy was very attentive! The bar staff were very welcoming & friendly! The food & the atmosphere was fab! Would highly recommend a visit to the Oyster Bed! U won't be disappointed. Thanks to all of u! From a well fed happy Pallen Family!
The service we had was very good. We was seated quickly and given time to look at the menu.
Once our order was taken we didn't wait long for our meals to come out. The food was really nice and after we finished our table was cleared quickly.
Overall a very good experience.
The staff are very nice and helpful, The starter was hot and very tasty as was the main course, we were six adults and one child its a nice family place to eat and drink the wine was chilled just right the way we like it three of us had a third course and ended up having two bottles of wine. The wife and I are going there again Tuesday about 4.30pm.
Hi yes the staff were very good despite there was no chefs as we was told they had not come into work that night,we was told when we got there, but decided to stay and wait as it turned out the wait for food was not that long at all cook by the manager and a traine the food was very good and was not disappointed the waitress we had was very good and job was very well done. My overall experience was very nice and my hat goes of to all the staff that was working that evening they had worked so so hard to keep it all running smoothly as they could so a big thank you to them and a very big thank you for getting it so Wright. We'll done to all of them and because of them me and my family will be going back there.
The food was great and our server Daisy was very welcoming and polite. We had a fairly big party with lots of dishes ordered and everything was correct, which was great. Would definitely recommend.

The food was very enjoyable, hot and reasonably priced. I was so glad you had Orchard thieves back on tap and my wife said her cocktail was delicious.
This was only the 3rd time of coming to the restaurant, but the 2nd time being served by the same waitress, who recognised us from our 1st visit 16 months ago. We knew this time frame as my son was only a week old on our 1st visit. What a great memory your staff member has and what a wonderful thing to be remembered out of all her many customers. A true asset to your team.
Will definitely be back, and much more frequently. Great food, affordable offers throughout the week and good choice of lunch time meals. 100% would recommend.
