The Duke Of Cumberland Restaurant & Bar - Whitstable - Photo album

Wow!! What a transformation!! We never really went to the 'Duke' much before, but that will certainly change now. The pub is now very modern and welcoming. The food and the service was all very good, a nice selection of beers and a great ambience. We enjoyed lunch out in the beer garden, but the
This is a little gem for a hidden wedding venue! I've lived in Whitstable for quite a few years, and never knew that there was a small venue within the ground of The Duke of Cumberland. It's such a lovely area for your intimate weddings. Very cosy, unique, and hidden away. The staff were very welcom

The restaurant was very cold. Waiting staff were very attentive And Rob’s cooking was amazing .The sharing platters were plentiful enough to have as a main course .Fish and chips was moist and flaky
Really nicely refurbished pub. Good selection of ales and beers. The food is very good. We had excellent smiley service from our waitress Hannah. She recommended the chicken special dish. It was excellent. We will return here on our next visit
Nicely refurbished Shep's pub, good wine choice and the usual beer offering. Very busy on a Saturday afternoon! There's also a nice outdoor seating area for nicer weather m
Lovely staff although not too knowledgeable in some areas, brilliant food best burgers ever, had a birthday party here with 6 of us and had the best time thanks guys we'll be back x
Nice venue for a smaller party - rustic feel function room with its own well stocked bar - helpful staff - would of been 5 stars but the venue has no parking so you have to hope there is a space near by or in local car parks
Although they were really short of staff and busy this Thursday lunchtime, Hannah was brilliant. She was so busy but remained completely professional and really welcoming. She is a real asset!
It's one of the best pubs in Whitstable - great crowd, live music, fireplace, dog friendly, some beautiful artwork, an outdoor area, a wee restaurant out the back (charming) and some great beers on tap. I've been coming here for years. They don't charge a 5er for a pint of guiness and the staff are
Pleased to see the refurbished Duke. We had a good lunch on Saturday. Food was very good. Service a bit disorganized, but they had only been open a few days.
The refurb is lovely. The pub looks clean and the service is very good. I didn’t have any food although the dining room looked very food.
Came for lunch on Friday. The pub is beautiful. Food was incredible and had amazing service from Hannah. We highly recommend, and will definitely return…
Lovely pub. Just been redecorated I think. Friendly staff, tasty wine and excellent Fish Finger sandwiches.
Lovely pub! Came with a few friends and Hannah was very helpful and made us all feel welcome, would definitely come back!
