The Pub is good, but what makes it exceptional is the location. Service is OK, food is generally pretty good and the location is absolutely perfect for some sunset drinks if you manage to grab a sit outside. If not, just take your bites and drinks away and enjoy by the beach.
I loved!
The crab snack was divine!
The wonderfully delicious portion!
and cold and very good beer!
if I can give you some advice! If you have the chance. Try it all!

First time in this pub, and I had an amazing experience. I have been with my daughter and my 2 doggies, on this day was so hot, when we sat down straight away a young boy bring us a big bowl with cold water for my dogs, was nice because I have been in many places when they said is dog friendly and n
A fixture of Whitstable, a quirky old pub right on the beach. If you're in the area, this is the pub that you should visit. Yes, Whitstable has become pricey in recent years (£15 for fish n chips) but this place is still cheaper than others nearby. Watch out for the sloping floorboards - they add to
We sat outside as such a beautiful sunny day. Customer service good and very welcoming. Fish and chips was faultless and the two different beers were lovely. All reasonably priced.
On a hot day the pub is a great place to have a beer and something to eat. Right on the seafront.
Great location right on the beach, very quick service and good food. Lovely atmosphere, and dog friendly
Location, location, location. Old Neptune is a suitably old and traditional boozer but its position practically on the beach is what elevates it to iconic status. Get yourself a real ale and a seat outside, watch the sun go down over the sea. Kent’s answer to Cafe Del Mar.
Such a lovely place!
Cosy vibes with so many lovely dogs! Friendly patrons and bar staff. The range of beers is great, particularly the local stout.
Shall be returning for many more years to come :)
Great atmosphere and sensational location as per historic photo. Lovely beers. Food disappointing - fish box was 70% batter meaning I could not taste the fish, whitebait, prawns etc
A rare thing, a British pub right on the beach. Good selection of beers, wines and food. Try the seafood sharing platter, including local oysters. Sit on the beach and stare out into the estuary. Busy at weekends so go early or book. Parking nearby but not at property.
Great spot for a quick ale, some seaside views and English seafood (scampi, cod, prawns, scallops etc). Staff were very attentive, service was good.
Pleasant with waterfront seating, I tried the fish and chips which was delicious, definitely recommended.
It opened at 12 and people were queuing at 1145. I guess that's a good sign. We only had a Panini but it was lovely and the service was great. Often the little buzzer things can be a pain but ours went off twice, first for our drinks and then our food. The collection from the hatch was good and work
We arrived off the back of a long journey at sunset in June. Wow, just wow. The pictures could never do the view and vibe the justice it deserves. The atmosphere was soul-soothingly peaceful and friendly. As a fan of Whitstable brewery I was also very happy with the beer. Fish and chips watching the
Fantastic Restaurant. We read that Whitestable was renound for their Oysters, so we wanted to try some. Unfortunately, we were out of season, so if you are looking for them, just check to see when they're in. We grabbed a table out back under their covered area. Our kids loved hanging out on the
Very busy. Though sat outside, great view sadly too late to order food. Service stopped at 7pm
