Had a great lunch. There were 7 of us, after trying several other pubs and restaurants that couldn't accommodate us. We came across this great place. We were looked after amazingly. Great staff and lovely food. Definitely recommend.

I had the steak and ale pie, probably the most tasty I have tasted. Bar is clean and comfortable, barman friendly and helpful. Easy 70s music playing. Food prices are sensible. All round excellent. Strongly recommended.

Really nice pub, warm welcome and great food. Recommend the scampi, the burger and the chicken skewers. Good choice of local beers as well. Lots of space inside so don't be put off if it looks busy. Recommended.

Fantastic pub-restaurant one of Whitstable’s Pearls. Adults only and pet free. Don’t be put off by this though as it has a lovely, calm atmosphere and friendly, caring staff. Good range of drinks - traditional favourites as well as local and the more obscure. Food is excellent - generous portions and absolutely delicious! A good range of mains and ‘light bites’ to suit all tastebuds. Traditional grub as well as the more exotic. Health and safety aware and very clean.

This is such as lovely, cosy and comfortable pub - tonnes of charm and character with beams, low ceilings, naval themed artwork and decor. We just came for drinks but were impressed by friendly staff, clean and high-spec furnishings, and a range of local beers. There's also a really cool beer garden and nice dining area.

Wholesome food and drink with local ales. Down to earth feel, clean and good service, honest approach. The steak and ploughman's were very nice.

I had a lovely lunch with friends on 21 January 2023. Staff friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable until we got the bill. Pint of Masterbrew £4.50 - pint of (tap) diet coke £5.60. Frankly that's disgusting, given how cheap syrup based drinks are to produce. Picture of receipt attached

Whoever works in that kitchen takes pride in their work! Quality food and lovely friendly staff. If I take a break in Whitstable again definitely getting some grub here. Sunday roast was Banging!! Very satisfied customer! :)

Excellent pub with very friendly, attentive staff. It looks very small from the outside but is like the TARDIS when you go in with lots of different areas to sit, including the public bar, restaurant area and outside space (both under cover and fully outside. The pub is very clean and the toilets are well looked after. The food was the usual pub fair, well done and presented and generous portions. Not sure that you can get a wheelchair through the front door but there is access from the rear, to garden only. Highly recommended.

Lovely little pub on the High Street with loads of charm. Clean and tidy even though it was quite busy when we were there. An outdoor seating area out the back with some under cover. The staff were friendly and polite. The Guinness was excellent as was the Shepherd Neame Whitstable Bay.

This could possibly a perfect pub. Great atmosphere, wooden panels, fireplaces, intimate and not noisy. Multiple levels and different seating options. Great wines by the glass. And, Whistable Pale Ale on tap is most excellent.

The fish and chips is really delicious! Especially the fish is very crispy and juicy. I like the sauce very much, not too much mayonnaise but very tasty. Lots of fries which can definitely be enough for a proper lunch.

Quite a classy feeling pub in the centre of Whitstable. The staff are nearly uniformed but very friendly. It has a wine bar -cum- gentleman's club vibe about and it was on the pricey side. Shepherd Became stock and Master Brew and Whitstable Bay Pale Ale the inevitable cask offerings.
