Our first time, so waitress came and explained menu. Lovely fresh food/produce. Good portion sizes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. :))
I would recommend the people of Whitstable and around, to come down to JoJo and try the food, sweet, and even fresh mint tea.
All amazing and tasty, will be a memorable food and moments in JoJo, best location ever just by Sea.

We ate here for the first time yesterday (2 adults and 2 children) and couldn't fault it. The staff were friendly, attentive (but not intrusive) and lovely with our children. The food was great - my husband declared the fish to be the best he's eaten! The whole experience was lovely and we'll definitely be back.
Perfect experience from start to finish, everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and the restaurant was buzzy.
The Northern chap who assisted us was great and all the food and drinks arrived quickly.
The menu is a nice concept, everything is ideal for sharing.
The beer battered cod and the lamb koftas were probably the best I tasted (and I'm from England and work in the Middle East so that's a bold statement!)
I would suggest booking a table in advance as they got busy quickly.

Fablous food every time. We eat here whenever we have something to celebrate. The new venue, overlooking the sea from the top of Tankerton slopes, is fabulous. There's a beautiful view out of every window. Lunch-wise, it's an obvious choice: great coffee, interesting salads, good sarnies, delicious bakery. Dinner-wise, there are a few stock favourites we always go for (tzatizi, humous, deep fried courgette) and there's always something new to try. We'd love the chef to keep mixing it up for the vegetarians, but we're not going to stay away. Desserts are amazing. And it's BYOB. The bill rarely comes to more than £15 per person for food. A wonderful way to spend an evening.
I’ve been wanting to visit this place for a while now and it didn’t disappoint.
The staff are very welcoming, the younger members of the team have been well trained, they are very polite and attentive. We went for a big walk along the coast path first and turned up much earlier that our table was booked for. We only popped in to see if it was possible to be seated earlier, one of the young lady’s went to get the manager, she said yes straight away if you don’t mind sitting at the bar, so we sat at the end. It was great because you can see everything that was going on. The service was good and the food is fantastic!
The place has a good vibe, young polite people serving you, and it was pretty reasonable. What more do you want🤷🏻♂️ 10 out of 10 see you again soon🙏🏻
We rocked up after 8pm without a booking & was greeted/shown to a table that was classed as the best table in the house…
Food & drinks were ordered with the friendly staff.. when the dishes started to arrive, we dived in & all I can say is OMG!
Each dish was delightful, tasty & portions were perfectly on point for the pair of us..
We will be going back to sample more of their dishes…
Very friendly welcome, prompt professional service. Open kitchen serving small (and not so small) plates of inventive tasty food. Heavy on the seafood. A very nice experience and became busy. Booking probably essential. I believe revived by crowdfunding after a potential lease closedown. Well worth a visit.

We stumbled upon this place and OMG the food is amazing. So tasty and the flavours so well balanced. We didn’t have a reservation so we ended up eating at the bar and even that was a good experience.
The food here is absolutely delicious. It is all freshly prepared and you can tell. Very extensive menu and everything that we ate was delicious.
The staff were super friendly and very helpful. They were very attentive to everyone's needs and always smiling.
I highly recommend a visit, though I believe that booking is essential as it was quite full when we visited on a Saturday at lunchtime.
A very special place. Food cooked and served with love. Never disappoints. Worth a trip from London to taste fresh foods prepared with care and skill and served with pride by the owner. Love the decor and ambience and the relaxed style with superb food and wine list.
So last night I took my wife and friends for her birthday dinner. In short it was absolutely brilliant! I am usually a very fussy customer and I have nothing to fuss about with this restaurant. The staff were fantastic from entrance til when we left. The food was amazing. Well done guys. Never change your formula because it works.
One of my favourite seaside restaurants and so glad they survived lockdown. Feel the cancellation policy is a little unwelcoming as it’s a 50 mile drive for us but appreciate than many people just don’t show up.
Great menu and difficult to know what to pick. Food comes as and when it’s ready as it’s freshly prepared.
The Indian spiced Chickpeas where prefect as were the deep fried prawns. Chargrilled chilli squid was a little chewy for me but the mutton and feta koftas were a good choice.
Super quick service, wine arrived almost before waitress taking our order left our table.
Hummus, olives, mussels, prawns and aubergine feast.
Spacious restaurant and lovely, happy, atmosphere.
