Popped in for lunch while travelling through. Friendly welcome and a good pint of Mad Goose. The dog friendly pub was clean and well laid out. The food was fantastic. Great Sunday lunch. Beef was cooked to perfection, good roasties and tasty gravy in nice surroundings. It didn’t break the bank and George & Grace were very welcoming. Will definitely be going again!

Decided to go for a drive with a friend unsure where to go we saw the pub and it looked cosy. Meet the landlord and his partner both very friendly and helpful. Would recommend a visit..

Didn't stop for food, but the drinks were great and the staff really friendly and helpful, will pop back to try meals. Its dog friendly too. We returned a few days later for a meal and it was fab, service was good and the food was yummy!!

Delightful little traditional pub. Spotlessly clean. Owner was polite and friendly. The food was delicious. Only a small menu, but the food was cooked fresh. The best home cooked chips I have eaten out EVER. Burger was fresh, homemade and juicy. Draught Thatchers was tasty and needed on a hot day. K

Great local by the looks of it. Best beef lasagna I've had. Pigged out and had both garlic bread and cheesy chips. Perfect and dog friendly pub as well. Please keep them alive people. "Your country needs them."
