Perfect atmosphere for couples / families looking for a quiet and comfortable pub with hearty and delicious food 👌🏻 As a vegetarian, I ordered the cauliflower and broccoli jalfrezi, and my partner ordered the salt and pepper battered chicken platter, and not only was the food absolutely delicious, b
Spot on. Home made Yorkshire puddings. 2 different types of potato, 10 different types of vegetables. Everything hot and spot on. Very tasty.
Fist time we have been here! I promise you will not be disappointed. Greeted by friendly staff and the food was delicious. Proper homemade pub grub!!! Complements to the chef!!! The manager Andy was a lovely bloke he came over and chatted when we had finished eating. The waitress was so nice she was
Stopped here midway through a longish journey. Welcome was extremely warm and the food was delicious. Good value for money and large portion sizes. Will definitely be saving it as a destination if we are ever in this part of the world again.
Not visited this lovely country pub in years, seen some lovely photos off their great food, was not disappointed. Great selection of food on the menu, different days there are some promotional prices too. Freshly cooked to order, great service, attentive staff, adjed if everything was ik with our me
With motorhome, stayed overnight in car park. Very handy stopover for m62. We had the evening meal. Good varied menu. Very nice and well cooked with great chips. Staff pleasant and friendly. I will definitely go there again when I am touring in that area. Thanks to all involved for making it a plea
We stayed 1night in 2 berth caravan, they happily let us park. Food drink and atmosphere great with nice friendly staff. Coors on draught was excellent as was the steak pie. Thanks again
Lovely food. New barman provided a great service for my mum's birthday meal. Would definitely visit again
Excellent value food, lovely staff, lovely garden and a nice children's play area, we will definitely use again if in the area. Only downside they don't have any real ale
Easy to find on the route of a long journey. Friendly and helpful staff and despite having a large menu - which we worry can overstretch a kitchen- the food seemed fresh and was definitely very tasty.
Amazing food and very reasonably priced. Sizzling chicken and king prawns amazing. Definitely recommend the chocolate brownie
One of the best pubs I've been in really nice owners and staff, and the food was great and a good portion too, if your ever close by and want a drink or bite to eat stop here you won't be disappointed.
Felt watched like you're not usually in here, type thing. But ok, I'm a local girl, just don't frequent the public houses often. Nice food, service OK and good prices
Nice pub. Nice food. Great place for kids to play & run about outside. (Play equipment a bit dated but serves a purpose, kids still love it). One other slight negative, the hand driers in the toilet are terrible, only blow weak cold air. Still a great place to come, will be back on our next bike
Friendly and polite staff. Food amazing, the pies are some of the best I've ever had. Homemade chips are great!
