This B&B makes a change from some of the tired ones that are out there! A clean and modern B&B with friendly welcoming hosts. The rooms are well thought out and spacious with no noise coming into the room. It is a short walk from the metro and to the beach so an ideal location.The hosts recommended
Just had a lovely weekend at Whitleybay and stayed at the metropolitan and I’m/we’re pleased we did. On arrival Paul and Lee made us feel at ease , genuinely nice and polite guys. The service,the rooms,the food were all spot on. The host Paul was really welcoming and so helpful and kind,we were staying in Whitley Bay for a family funeral and Paul made the stay much easier.

My wife and I stayed there on 14 November. Excellent value for money. We would most happily stay there again. The only thing I could complain about is that they had forgotten to leave coffee in the room (there was tea) and the absence of a grab handle in the shower.

Excellent guest house! The owners are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and stylish. The attention to detail in the whole place is incredible. Great location for Whitley Bay & Tynemouth. Breakfast was out of this world!!! Free parking either
