I love visiting this cafe with my little chihuahua! Lynn is so welcoming and I see her as a god friend friend now! Her menu is fabulous, and whether you have a dog or not, you must visit this cafe when in or around Whitley Bay - it is just beside the Whitley Bay metro x
Charming place, love the decoration.
The food is good, but the reason to come here is a good talk with great people.
In case you didn't know: pets welcome.
My son and I called in today for lunch today and we loved it! Homemade corned beef pie reminded me of my nanas when I was little especially with the beans mmmm
Came yesterday, really lovely and spacious with very nice home cooked food. Will venture back this way again.
First time I’ve ventured in here! Pretty, clean, well run, good food, good drink! Happy customer!
Excellent home cooked traditional meals. A must are the Homemade Sausage Whirls. Try them.....then tell me I'm wrong.
This was our first visit to Lynians and it won't be our last. We had the Belly Buster and standard breakfast, both were excellent value for money and we both cleared everything on our plates. The staff were extremely friendly. We will definitely be back.
Food was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Extremely dog friendly.
Small homely cafe with proper food. I lunch here whenever I am in the area. Homemade soups are lovely. I don't have a dog but take it there if I did.
Amazing homecooked food in a clean and cosy environment. Also at a very good price. Staff very friendly. I will certainly be back again :)
Tried this wee find for the first time. And very pleased with what we found. Staff very welcoming, food gorgeous and not that expensive. Will def be returning.
Brilliant!
Great Dog Friendly cafe, everything homemade and delicious, the owner and staff made such a fuss of our dog, gave him some treats and water.
The breakfasts were delish and very reasonable, great value, great place to eat some proper home made food!

I have been there to benefit from eat out and help out scheme on the Tuesday 18th August 2020. Gandhi, once said, "the greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated". This Cafe gives extraordinary importance to dogs. There are visiting dog pics everywhere and I believe that the owner is a great dog follower/ lover. It was overall an impressive place to hang out. I ordered chicken pie with vegetables lunch menu along with a cappuccino. The food was great as well. I spent over an hour there and found a old lady (customer) who seems to frequently visit this place not just to enjoy the food but also to chat with the owner. In nutshell, this is the place to be for relaxing and to enjoy homemade food. Will visit again next week.
Popped in while passing to get a bite to eat, thought it was a bit "twee" at first, you know, cakes, scones, soup etc so only asked for a toasted cheese sandwich and coffee, then watched as a proper belly buster breakfast went past me to a customer on the tables out front. I missed out there as the only menu I could see seemed to involve dogs - only I didn't fancy eating one of those - although it most likely was for them rather than out of them.... I expect. Should have asked.
Sandwich was good, but not as good as the breakfast would have been, coffee was good, place is clean, standard chairs and tables inside and out, saw one sofa if you like to lounge, the ladies working inside that day were friendly...but you can never tell, I've seen those movies with nice old ladies, and that single, suspicious doggie menu...well, just saying.
dog friendly cafe. made my dog feel very welcome. we sat inside and had a huge breakfast £6.00 good value for money. I would definitely recommend.
Lovely little cafe food was delicious, very good prices, dogs are very welcome and a the lady was happy and polite. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for making our visit pleasurable
The best cafe ever and great food .. from Kevin and Rona..
Always love visiting here. The food is lovely and the atmosphere is amazing. It's always nice to relax here. I'm not local to Whitley bay but have lessons across the road so it's nice to come here after a lesson to chill and eat great food.
Excellent little friendly cafe with good food at very reasonable prices...also dog friendly.
Very well priced food and drinks. Had some delicious minted pea and basil soup and a nice latte for less than £5.
Great on a cold day.
Lovely café and very welcoming. Good menu and delicious food. Great for vegetarians. Has a nappy changing table and highchairs. Very helpful and attentive staff.
Great home cooked food with friendly staff.
