Went there because of their gluten free menu for our Coeliac son. It was a bank holiday so it was pretty busy but they managed to sit 6 of us fairly quickly and the food was delivered to the table in good time.
The boyo loved his fish and chips and they clearly were gluten free as they stayed where they should. The server was knowledgeable about the GF Menu but My only VERY SLIGHT criticism is that the waitress was a bit flustered (she was VERY busy) and she gave the gluten free meal to the wrong table - they didn't touch it or anything and it came to us straight after but CONFIDENCE is everything when dealing with food allergies - my wife and I shared an uncertain look across the table but all was well. Would only suggest that a "Gluten Free" flag in the top of the fish would help everyone.
£30 for a family of four (not sure what the other 2 people paid) so pretty reasonable for a sit down meal.
We'll defo be back because eating out with a coeliac can be quite tough sometimes.

Top fish and chip shop near the amusements and ice cream shops on Whitley Bay front.
There’s a decent outdoor seating area for people to use with plenty picnic benches.
Portions are good and food very fresh.
Decent fish and chips, ideally located to sit on the promenade and relax by the sea.
Lovely place to come and eat traditional fish and chips, good quality fish and the younger brother loved the breast bites.
The staff were very catering for my grandma as she is in a wheelchair and they made space for her while also keeping the shop safe

Me, my sister and Mum went for a walk along Whitley bay beach and we went to Pantrinis before heading home, we had lovely food and service and my Mum said that the fish cake and chips was beautiful and definitely worth the wait, as they take a little longer in the pan. The service was very friendly and we’re happy to hear about our day out!
It must have been very difficult to keep business going following the pandemic and now the cost of living crisis.
We are very fortunate to be able to have the occasional trip out. We decided to try out Pantrini's. We had haddock and chips which were served by very friendly staff who were eager to help us. It being just a tad to cool to eat outside, we decided to eat inside.
It was a bit of a shock our order being served in a takeaway box. The tea was in a paper cup. The meal for two wasn't particularly cheap. The haddock had a tasty light batter and was very tasty.
I understand times are difficult but it is not a great experience having fish and chips in a takeaway box, in a restaurant.
The best fish and chips for miles around. Always go there when I'm in the Northeast

A bit pricey but do appreciate the price of everything now away,anyway got a fish which was big and very tasty
fish and chips (cod) were delicious the service was excellent, he went out of his way to make potato fritters. large portions and fair price.
A simple interior, but fine if you want to sit and eat rather than have a take away....but the Gluten Free battered Haddock was delicious and the chips crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Separate fryer used for gluten free food.....they made a coeliac very, very happy.

Good portions and the cod was very well cooked. Tasted really good, would definitely go again. Lost a star due to a faff on with getting some mushy peas. Was taking to long so asked for a refund, which the staff gave back very quickly.
I've eating here a few times I have also had deliveries, there is a buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant the food is always hot and fresh. Friendly and efficient staff best fish and chips in the North East.
