Superb food was just stunning. Had one of the best Sunday dinners I have ever had. The pork was slow roasted to perfection, Yorkshire puddings were light and huge, veg and trimmings perfectly cooked and all for £10.00. I can’t wait to come back and have it again. Lovely atmosphere, huge portions and
Decent Italian.
Manager (older bloke with a pony tail) very welcoming.
Pretty standard pizza & pasta offerings, no real surprises on the menu but what we had was well prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Extra star added because when I went to the bar for a whisky after we'd paid the mana
Lovely looking restaurant with a large menu. Had to wait for a drink but when we did get the food ordered it came pretty quickly.
Plates took away after main and nobody came to ask us about pudding for 20 mins so gave up and asked for the bill which they took a while to get sorted as we were waiting
Visited twice this week, once in the evening and once at lunchtime. Food excellent quality and love the bread and spreads that come when you have ordered. Service efficient and friendly, surroundings quietly understated. Will certainly call again when in Whitley Bay area. Can recommend the happy ho
Very busy and a little wait for service. Once ordered food arrived swiftly and was of good quality and a sufficient portion. Eve of the Great North Run so staff admitted they were extra busy. They coped well with orders and remained friendly.
Went about 6pm - during happy hour. Had 20% off the bill. Menu has recently changed to an Italian tapas which run thought out the night and is the same across all the Divanti locations according to the staff. The food was tasty and well presented, the prawns and beef were delicious the pizzas large
Continually, the best Italian restaurant on the coast. The ownership has changed over the years, but they've had the sense on each occasion to retain the front and kitchen. Great place, especially good value early bird and lunch
Originally we drove 7 miles to have food in Hinnies , however, they turned us away as they stopped serving food. And lucky for us , because this little Italian restaurant was a gem. We selected dishes from the tapas menu for sharing , glass of wine and two soft drinks and the bill came to £30. Fanta
Homey service and great food! The tapas idea is brilliant as there’s so many mouth watering options to try. The decor is elegant and watching the sun set and fog descend makes an evening
Very good food - we were given complementary bread (home made) and tapinade. Particularly recomend the arancini starter and the vegetarian lasagne. And good value during happy hour! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Superbly friendly staff, and a starter of black pudding in a peppercorn source of glorious quality. The dough of the pizza was rather heavy, but for this price you really can't complain.
We booked a table here at short notice on a Saturday night and the food and service were fabulous. I had 3 courses and the food was beautiful, I would definitely come back here if back in the area in the future 😁👍
Cracking food, wish there was on of these is Preston! I had the Pate to start with, which was divine.....never had a pate as creamy, smooth and not over powering before. My partner had the potato skins which were very crispy and tasty. Then I had the chicken breast with asparagus and tomato base, it
Excellent and authentic italian cuisine at a very reasonable price! Happy hour menu is virtually giving it away! Not a fan of italian restaraunts in general as I cook myself to a high standard, but would gladly come here again and again. Service is very friendly and attentive. Prego!
Food very nice. Service was good. They had just changed over to tapas style food and the menu was difficult to understand until it was explained.
Relaxed, no rush and friendly atmosphere. Food excellent especially the sirloin steak and fillet which come with sauce in separate container so you can see what you are eating. Good value for money.
