Fantastic view of the seafront. Bright and classy interior. Great service! 3 courses of Sunday lunch goes for £33. I had the queenie scallops starter, which the serving plate was so unique, each scallop sitting nicely on its designated groove! The main, roast beef, pink and juicy, with velvet smooth mash accompanied a giant Yorkshire pudding, the gravy was fantastic! Last, the rhubarb choux bun was very refreshing! Will definitely return, for its excellent quality of food and value!

One of the best views in the Bay! Staff we're friendly and the food was top notch. I would say that I was a little disappointed with the lobster thermadore as they really skimped on the actual lobster. Aside from this, it's a definite recommend.

Had Sunday Lunch today with my wife and elderly Mother. All the food was beautifully presented by polite and attentive staff. Especially impressed when Ryan remembered my dietary allergy despite not having been there for quite sometime. Oh and the view of Whitley Bay towards St Mary’s Lighthouse is amazing.

Food and service were excellent, staff were very friendly and very professional, describing food etc. Food was so good and so were the cocktails 🍸 4 stars for atmosphere only because it was misty and murky so didn't get the fantastic views, but restaurant still felt comfy and welcoming

We went for the opening night of the restaurant and overall it was a very pleasant experience. High end quality food which came at a cost, which we thought was slightly (10-20%) dearer than we thought it should have been. The restaurant is fairly small which is nice as the very attentive waiting staff are always there when needed. The view out to sea is lovely but if you're not sat at the window, as a table of 2, we found the way the seating is arranged one person had full view whilst the other had their back to it and faced a wall instead. It would have been nicer to sit side-on to the windows so as a couple both could enjoy the view. The food itself was good. Some parts were excellent, and others we were slightly let down in. For instance the fish soup, whilst very tasty, had no fish in it. Pieces of fish or seafood is what we were expecting. The Cheesecake with a sponge base was a little underwhelming. The steaks should come with a choice of sauce and a side, but you get fries and bearnaise as standard. So if you want a different sauce or veg side then this comes additionally with an extra charge. I'm being quite picky here but as a place pricing itself as high end then you would hope you expectation would be met and exceeded. As their first night though I think they've done very well, a few teething problems perhaps and I expect them to iron those out. Will we be back? I think we will try again, but as it's priced highly it might require a special occasion to celebrate to warrant the return.

We visited for afternoon tea. We have been 3 times and each time it is fantastic. It is the best afternoon tea we've had. The gluten free afternoon tea is just as fantastic and isn't compromised at all. The service is good, nobody rushes you and the view over the sea front just helps add to the experience.

Beautiful setting, glorious views of the beach and waves. Excellent great tasting food and good value for money if you shared soup and sandwich deal with your teenager. Cakes were OK but a bit rich on caramel and a bit dry for the polenta cake.

We booked in for Sunday dinner and on arrival were seen & seated right away, with a good view of the coast line. I went for the pork loin Sunday dinner option and there was so much food I barely finished it (left the cabbage!), Pork was lovely as to were the rest of the plate - big Yorkshire pudding a bit to crispy for my liking but still ate the lot. Mash & roast potatoes and on the side carrots, peas, cabbage and creamy cauliflower. The wife went for the haddock which she enjoyed and came out nicely presented. We/I somehow managed to squeeze in a desert; white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake for me which was very nice and surprisingly lite and the wife had the crème brulé. Staff were very good, not to intrusive but still checked in. I would recommend and I think we'll be back.

Went here for an afternoon tea, setting and location and view fantastic. Inside lovely and staff great. However on ordering the afternoon tea for two people costing £50.00 and what was served just could not see the cost. 2 finger sandwiches each two scones, each and four small cakes and two little mouse trifles. Unlimited tea/ coffee. Very over priced.

Taken out by my kind cousin and her family who were up visiting. Superb meal, excellent service and great view. Dealt with special requirements quickly ad efficiently resulting in a splendid night out. We have been here before though that was in winter a few years ago and the place, although excellent then, is even better. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely place to eat inside and the views of the coast are spectacular. Lovely 3 course Sunday dinner ( its what it's called up here still ). Had a souffle starter, with a Turkey dinner and Prauline truffle too finish, it was gorgeous. The staff are great, very helpful, pleasant, and a real positive for the restaurant. We'll definitely be back.
