Great first experience. Lovely tapas style menu - really unusual with a chance to try some different dishes. Lovely staff make you feel very welcome.
Simply the best Indian/Asian in the area. I’ve lived in london, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester… all with famous Indian areas and this is as good as anything I’ve eaten. It’s not you big standard menu but it has the standards.. and it’s all excellent

For anyone visiting Whitley Bay, or people who live here, although they'll certainly know the Ahar, this is quite simply the best Indian and tandoori cuisine in the area. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Best around.
