It is an Indian restaurant with real Indian food, very tasty. Formal table sitting and service. The waitress served the dishes with pleasure and a big smile. The restaurant is big and has so many tables. Luckily it wasn't full and we had our food quite quickly and hot. We are very happy to discover this little gem in Whitley Bay.

Zamorins is hands down the best Indian restaurant in Newcastle! The hospitality is unmatched, with staff providing a warm and exceptional service from the moment you enter. Every dish was delicious, but the Goan monk fish curry and Chuttulli fish on kallappam were exceptional, each impeccably seasoned and cooked to perfection. Moreover, every dish was a visual delight, reflecting the vibrant and sophisticated flavors of authentic Indian cuisine. For anyone in Newcastle seeking a genuine and exquisite Indian dining experience, a visit to Zamorins is a must!

Great night staff are polite and professional and very welcoming, very clean throughout with good facilities and plenty of places to sit. The menu is not over complicated with plenty of choice. The food is excellent fresh and full of flavor, the staff are very accommodating as asked for extra spice and it was delicious not overpowering with lots of flavor, Good choice of drinks too and all reasonably priced. I'll definitely be going back and I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Having been away working for the best part of two weeks, it was time for a treat so Dad and I decided to head down and indulge ourselves with a fabulous curry. We were not disappointed! Not having been in for months the owner greeted us as old friends and took us to a great seat where the waiting staff treated us with the same level of respect as the rest of the customers. Our drinks, dad opted for the house red and had he not been driving, he'd have happily had a couple more glasses, I tried their new IPA called Malabar which is a smooth blonde 4.3% ale that is delicious and perfectly compliments a hotter curry. Food, dad went for his favourite Lamb Rogan and I decided to try their Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi, dad cleared his plate and I struggled for the first time in ages to get anywhere near finished, I was served with a powerful summer weight onion and tomato based sauce with lots of chunks of sweet peppers and huge pieces of succulent, perfectly spiced chicken breast, complimented by the rice which I just couldn't find a big enough gap to polish off my plate! Yes they are a little more expensive than the average but the price difference but it is worth it!

As I'd been away, my Dad decided it was curry night so we came down. Having had a meal only a few hours before, I was only after a light meal which wasn't too spicy so after our customary few puppadums, Dad and I tried their Chicken Kurma Malabar. This is a much lighter version of the staple sweet curry which is regularly made heavier, thicker and sweeter elsewhere. Designed for a lighter, more adult palate, this is made with coconut milk rather than coconut cream and is flavoured with real pieces of malabar cinnamon bark, their chicken was as always, juicy, tender and flavourful, thus complimenting the Kurma sauce beautifully. Our only side was their rice which was lightly flavoured with cumin and cardamom. Once again 10/10 for food, atmosphere and service with a warm welcome and yes, I'll definitely be back!!

First time here and our overall experience was brilliant. The food was tasty and more than enough per portion. A bit more pricy than your average Balti house but the price reflects in the quality of the food and service. Lamb just melted in the mouth and the fish pakora starter was just outstanding! Highly recommend eating here as we will be here again.

First time visiting this restaurant after various recommendations to do so and it was well worth the visit. The front of house staff were very attentive and clearly enjoyed looking after the diners. Then came the food, very high quality and cooked to perfection. I will certainly be back for more! A great addition to the businesses on Park View.

Really enjoyed the unique experience of dining at Zamorins. Their Southern Indian cuisine is delicious. We visited on a Saturday evening and service was excellent. The menu offers plenty of choice. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken Salad for starters, which provided a generous quantity of food, and tasted delicious. The next dish was new to us - the Dosa - which is a long crispy pancake filled with a spicy mixture - either chicken based or vegetables. We had one of each and loved it. Again the portions were generous. We will certainly return again soon!

The food at Zamorins is always beautifully spiced. I default to the biryani, which has a wonderful hint of warmth, melt in the mouth lamb and wonderful spicing. Great food and service.
