TEN STARS FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING AND STAFF WAS AMAZING. SO FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING I LOVED IT
The food was lovely, it came hot and fresh and was so nice to sit in to eat. The website says eat in only but they do take away and deliveries. It was value for money and will be returning.

My local Chinese moved into the pub. Ordered a takeaway. The pub is really nice inside. Bar staff are friendly. Definitely would go here for a drink.
Great Chinese food and lovely staff. Only thing that marred it a little was the group of leathered guys in suits being insanely loud and drink during our visit. Can be helped as irs a pub but it does put the atmosphere down a bit on a random Wednesday night!

The Archer was, clean, tidy, long table for 15 of us nicely laid out!! Lots of food! Lady who dealt with it also gave takeaway boxes to anyone who wanted to take left over, cakes/scones, home with them!
Certainly a very good Pub for gatherings that aren't too large! Thank you to The Archer 🏹 Staff for a pleasant afternoon!!

Went for a meal in the newly-opened Chinese restaurant part of the pub and it was delicious. The staff were attentive and the food was served piping hot. If you want a good night out in a traditional community pub with friendly atmosphere as well as superb food then this is the place for you. Book ahead though on the table because it's busy.

The food is cheap and plentiful. The Steak and Kidney pudding was amazing. Very generous portion, and served with buttery mash and veggies, with an extra side jug of gravy. You'll not leave there hungry!! Been twice now, will go again.
Proper pub . Busy . Locals ain't wrong. Football days are great.

Lovely staff, friendly cheeky locals, two beautiful dogs patrolling the balcony upstairs and a menu that reminds me of an old school cafe and caters fantastically for vegetarians. Absolutely top class chips!

Had a present evening in here whilst visiting Dover for work. Wasn't initially what I expected in side as the decor is quite modern. The cook was off that week so I didn't get to sample the food. However the beer was good and well kept and the Bar staff friendly and welcoming. The place on the whole had a nice atmosphere and I had an enjoyable evening.
