Having our mom’s birthday in here, never expected they would set up a few cute balloons😍 The food was so perfect and the portion is large. We ordered 4 main courses and 3 desserts for 5 people, but we are so full and satisfied at the same time. Also this is a dog friendly place, they even offer trea
As a seasoned traveler with an insatiable appetite for delicious food, we stumbled upon the hidden gem that is Traveller's Rest Pub, and it's safe to say that this place exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at hom
A great pub which is only a short distance off the A30. We stopped here on our way down to Cornwall. The staff were highly attentive and professional who really looked after us. The food was excellent.
Midweek lunch for 2 our first time even though we live locally - great menu with food to suit all tastes! Great value and top quality - we chose two baguettes, a real plate full with fries and large salad and also had a calamari to share. First class friendly service in an immaculately clean pub -

Charming little pub. Incredibly friendly and accommodating personnel. Moreover, the pub welcomes dogs. We opted for the Sunday roast, which, while of moderate quality, was still a satisfying dining experience. Reasonably priced with a diverse selection on the menu.
Stopped off here to break up the 4 hour drive home. Atmosphere was lovely. Food was lovely and very good portions. Staff were lovely especially the one guy. Didn't catch his name but he was so sweet had a chat with my husband, myself and my kids. Very warm and welcoming. If it wasn't so far away I'd
There’s plenty of parking on the opposite side of the road. A path for pedestrians to get safety down the slope. The welcome was warm and friendly. We had two large dogs in our group and they were also made very welcome and provided with water and treats. There was a selection of foods on the menu t
I highly recommend The Travellers Rest to all. What a lovely place! We were returning from a job where we required somewhere to park our camper and trailer over night and this is where I was recommended. Plenty of outside space to park up, quiet and best of all the welcome and food. My little Twig
We had stopped for lunch on our way through to Cornwall. Super friendly and warm service. Delicious food in a rustic atmosphere. We had two dishes from the lunch menu and a pizza. It was certainly not a mistake to have lunch here.
