Only got chips, but they were absolutely awesome, nearly went back for more! π€€π
I'm not from the area but when I'm visiting, I often make a bee-line for this place as a treat. It's quite pricey and portions aren't huge but the chips are possibly the best I've ever had. Delicious again on a recent visit. Great stuff.

The restaurant, service & waitresses were excellent but the food was terrible unfortunately. Seemed like the prices were put up specially for the Maritime Festival & the fish & chips were a rip off at Β£9.95 a portion. The burger for Β£7.95 looked good but it was cold & the chips tasted like they had stood for hours. Disappointing for my visitors who had come a long way to visit the festival & had heard such good reviews for Arrighis in the past.
Had some chips this afternoon with my neighbour Peggy. As usual the staff were really friendly. Definitely a nice place to go for some food.
Was here the other day from Norfolk with my daughter having a few days away it was the best fish and chips we had in years..
