This is such a well positioned pub right on the front at Whitehaven. It is nicefully decorated with a good range of seating depending on group size 2 seater tables, 4 seater or large settee effects. Staff are very nice and front of house staff kept busy tidying and clearing tables. The toilets are o
Another good pub with friendly staff and a good choice of food and drink on the menu. Very airy and lots of natural light. Can get busy but spacious. Recommended the wetherspoons app to save time so you don't need to leave table apart from the call of nature

We enjoyed steaks when we visited, they were all cooked perfectly. Value for money and very good service too. We'll go again next time in Whitehaven.
We were just having a walk around Whitehaven with family they wanted breakfast,we just had a beer and a coffee, they said the food was good as was the service and good value for money as always in a spoons. Cheers Duncan and Helen and the family.

Great staff and service and all facilities were clean. Had the full breakfast, which was excellent and good value for the price. Always visit this pub when we meet up with old friends a few times a year.
Quick pub grub. You get what you pay for. Decent stock of beers and ales and having the windoors open is a nice touch in this heat. Decent prices too.
I love this place, easy to get quick lunch or dinner, I have my favourite meals in here. Staff is kind and helpful. I never waited long for my food to arrive even if is busy waiting time is minimal. I highly recommend this place
Didn't have large cod portions so ended up with the standard size. Tasted nice. The staff were very pleasant.
Went with two friends, one from Penrith one from Carlisle, both said the service and the food was excellent, also the cleanliness of the property was exceptional, unlike the properties in Carlisle and Penrith, which was totally opposite. Well done Whitehaven, I have never been before but would be ha
