Lots to choose from - and not just plants, but garden furniture, gifts, garden aggregates and compost etc. There is a restaurant/cafe and public toilets. Staff are friendly and willing to give advice. Quite a big car park, with additional parking also. Really good Christmas display

Glad to spend two hours in Whitehall during the afternoon break. A relaxing place filled with surprises. We love Acers (Japanese Maples) and Roses where there are plenty of choices. I missed the cafe (&cakes) this time so will definitely come again.

Whitehall is always a great place to visit at Christmas. It is a winter wonderland. The displays are fabulous and bring such joy to children and adult faces alike. So many decorations to choose from. I went for the tiger one! First time trying out the very popular restaurant. The cake was delicous! You come away from here feeling so festive. Love it.

It’s a bit mind boggling seeing all this Christmas stuff in October, and the “IKEA queuing” to get through to the restaurant is also a bit tortuous, but it’s all good

Wonderful place to visit, lovely staff and a vast selection of items for sell. I recently enquired to the securiry staff about cctv footage in the carpark after my car was damaged and they couldn't be more helpful. I was able to confirm straight away from their CCTV that it didn't happen in their carpark. A note to any shoplifters, stay away, they have one of the best CCTV systems I have seen and I have worked in the security industry for 31 years. I cannot recommend this place enough, well worth a visit.

This has become a annual visit for many years now . This year the layout has changed . It is bigger and the layout is so much better. Love all the Christmas decorations and the displays

Much larger than it appears. Much of the same products you'll find in most modern garden centres (birthday cards, children's games, jigsaw puzzles, a small amount of cooking equipment etc.). The selection of local produce was pretty small. I was hoping to get some local cheese, but there wasn't very much. The main reason to visit this place is the very well kept, and reasonably priced flowers and plants. The member of staff we spoke to was very knowledgeable and a tremendous help when purchasing plants.

I like to visit here every Christmas, they make a real effort to make it magical for kids and grown ups alike. There are Christmas scenes that move, like the reindeers in my photo, and fairytale settings. The range of Christmas baulballs, lights, and assesories to buy is huge! There is a Christmas village display and lots of pieces you can buy to add to your Christmas village scene (If you have one like me). I have taken my kids to see father Christmas at Whitehall in the past, and it was one of the best grottos, they gave out good presents!

Nice range of plants and gardening equipment. Staff were friendly. There is a big farm shop ans cafe too. Only reason for the 4 stars is I solely visited this garden centre to visit the aquatic section... only to be told they don't have one, so I was disappointed at the wasted trip as I checked the website before hand and it stated they do have aquatic sections in the garden centres BUT when I spoke to someone in store, they said this is only the larger stores. But would visit again if I needed something for the garden.

Phenomenal christmas displays, you can really see how much effort they put in. Staff all very friendly and genuinely seemed happy in their work which is pretty rare these days! It's a little bit off the beaten track but worth the visit. All outdoor plants looked well tended and generally a clean tidy place to visit dispite how busy it was.
