Nice quirky old rooms, large with good ensuite. A little dated but fair price. Attended a comedy festival in the grounds. Good looking good, although I didn't eat here and the drinks were good and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely
Great service. Brilliant welcoming and kinds staff. I left a shirt in my room as I was in a hurry to leave in the morning and they posted it back to me and asked for nothing even after I offered to pay for postage. Customer service like that goes a long way. Would definitely stay again.
Despite covid - wonderful and friendly reception. Small but clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was perfect. Walking distance from town.
We left an item important to us and the hotel did everything to get it to us as soon as possible. Can not recommend more.

Went to a 60th birthday party here with 5 course meal. The meal was beautiful and high quality, everything served piping hot ( with 100+ guests) with ample potatoes and veg for the table. We were asked if we wanted more too. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Well actually it was all most enjoyable- we were in the marquee which had an outside bar and bbq. So not in the Dodington Lodge building. Atmosphere really good and a great evening
We attended a cycling club annual dinner here. Service was excellent and the food was hot and tasty. A thoroughy enjoyable evening although we cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stop over. Much improved from previous years
Dinner was nice had the donny burger great selection of ales beers and ciders and breakfast could of been bigger room was ok but bathroom had damp behind toilet
First time going to this place went there for a comedy show which was excellent easy to find just used the A41 to whitchurch plenty of parking.did not have anything to drink or eat but the pub had a restaurant.
Lovely place, we'd done a 50 mile cycle ride and didn't get there until 10pm the chef opened up the kitchen and did us fish and chips, lovely rooms. Thank you
I loved my stay here everyone was super friendly and couldn't do enough to make my stay enjoyable. Food was excellent as was the room. Will be back thank you

If you love an hotel in traditional English style, you will love this. It might be all an bit old fashioned and outdated, but the service is good and the rooms are clean.
Very clean staff friendly . Food great. Parking and walking distance into town, what more could you want.
