I parked up for the night here to break up my journey. The staff were friendly and helpful, fine with me camping there for the night. I had dinner which was absolutely delicious. Perfect salmon, chips and veggies. They were lovely. I, personally, wasn't struck on the dessert menu with no sticky toff
First time here, lovely chilled atmosphere people and staff were friendly and I was allowed to park my motorhome for the night.
The place is spotless, the food is fresh, tasty and in plentiful amounts. The staff are friendly. As with many pubs in the area it accepts dogs . The only thing I would change is the temperature of the beer, it was too cold to really taste. Definitely worth a visit.
Group Lunch, everyone enjoyed the food, even had a couple of beers on for me to try. Nice. Clean tidy atmosphere 👌 only lost a star because we were a little confused by the vegetables whose was whose. Overall great, hope we get a chance to come back.
Really welcoming pub that I found on a cold night when I was chilly. Warmed up inside. Good beer, warm fish&chips, really welcoming service. Thank you so much. I needed it today...x
Gorgeous gammon, chips and beer. I've had dozens of gammon meals in many different pubs over the years, but this one is without doubt easily the best one I've ever had! The chips were amazing, and my beers were perfect. My wife was really pleased with her lasagne and salad. We were welcomed to sta
This is a lovely pub in the middle of charming countryside. On the three occasions when we've eaten here the food has been superb, reasonably priced and piping hot. The 10oz halibut fillet was sensational! One of our favourite places.
Fitted us in even though we hadn't booked, as looking for somewhere to eat on way back from a day out and didn't know the area that well and was glad to find a nice looking pub with food. It was a nice menu with lots of choice. The chips were absolutely amazing. Nice countryside surroundings and lar
Excellent food! It was really quiet on a Thursday afternoon. We had the lamb shank with a side of vegetables, which was incredible, and vegetable lasagne, which was also very good.
Good food with a good variety on the menu and excellent service. Will be revisiting in the future without a doubt.
Lovely quiet local pub, with amazing food, definitely worth a visit
This place is such a treat to have in my local area. The food is spectacular and they're not shy on portions. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for all occasions.
Steak & ale pie is one of the best I have ever eaten . Chips beautifully. Large portions . Worth every penny
As members of the Britstop scheme we parked our motorhome in the carpark of The Olde Jack Inn and partook of their hospital in return. The experience was excellent. We fully recommend it.
Lovely friendly family ran pub. Food was lovely, and really big portions.
Excellent meal very quick service happy staff couldn't ask for better will definitly be back
100% great village pub very well run and friendly good range of real ale & wine
Stayed one night in our campervan in car park as a brit stop member. Booked a table for an evening meal, the staff are very friendly and the food was top notch, with a lovely ambience mainly local family's but felt very welcome.
