The White Lion is a community owned pub, which has existed since the 18th Century.
The pub has had various work done recently to improve the pub inside and out, to provided a range of facilities for pleasure and business, ideal for groups to meet up.

We had reserved for a large party and were altogether in the stable room. Despite being short staffed the service was excellent. Food arrived promptly and was lovely. This pub is a community pub bought by all the villagers. Well done to them for keeping this lovely pub going
Really enjoyed some eclectic hot, sweet, sour Asian flavoured, Med flavoured easy eating food here… ! Try a bowl of crispy coated, big & juicy Chicken strips on the side dish menu, Jalepeno Poppers.. for a bit of heat, crispy coated peppers stuffed with cream cheese, both great as a starter! Not out

I am biased but this really is a fabulous pub - eat here at least once a week and always delicious. Super atmosphere and lovely staff.
