Midway Truck Stop

One of 3 cafes at this terrific Pitstop on our way up north. It was actually a motorbike meet night so an added bonus for us. Very friendly atmosphere, lots to see as various motorbikes stopping. They also sell our favourite bakewell and lemon tarts as well as large fondant fancies. We'd stop here again.

Great experience, the only thing I'd prob say is due to how busy it is service can be a little lacking when getting your food, four of us ordered burgers together (all the same) and one of us ended up waiting til every one of us had finished our food before he received his, and it was a simple order and he ordered his after me, and I ordered mine first so not sure if his order was misplaced or what. Being served was great the ladies behind the til were lovely and friendly and happy to help even tho they were very busy. Food was delicious and hot ❤️

This is a Truck-Stop. A very well-known truck stop and cleanest I've ever been in. It's been going for at least 50 years, probably twice that. All are welcome, though lorry drivers get served first. Everyone is polite and friendly. The food is very, fairly priced and Delicious! I ate a Full Healthy Option Breakfast for £8.95 that included a hot drink. With a friendly atmosphere to boot. Well worth a visit. Try it and see. It also does take out as well as eating inside.

The venue was full, I guess there was a local Bikers event or perhaps this is their regular haunt, who knows but everyone was happy and well fed! There was a bit of queue to get in and seated but once we had ordered there were plenty of tables to be had. You can't sit down till you've ordered which makes things nice and orderly. We opted for an All Day Breakfast and a Special Breakfast and both were well cooked and arrived quickly. This is my 2nd trip here for brekkie as we live in Surrey so we only come when visiting family locally. Sunday morning Birthday breakfast at The Midway Truck Stop did not disappoint :)
