A couple of days ago I left a 5 star review, today my review was attacked so I deleted it. I have thought long and hard and stand by my review. I have eaten here many times, the food is great, the service is fabulous and they welcome dogs. This is MY review and don't think that those that have an axe to grind about something they do not agree with should interfere with my view of the establishment. No I do not agree with Fox Hunting but I don't think that attacking others views is the way to go about getting a point across.

We pass this pub on our way to our dance lesson, so we thought that we would give it a try. Fabulous place to dine, fab food and staff.

Fantastic food and service. We found this beautiful restaurant during a weekend away for my wife's birthday, and will definitely come back when we are next in Shropshire. As a Coeliac I was so happy with the allergen menu with gluten free options and staff's understanding and willingness to help. Especially loved having sticky toffee pudding which I have never been able to have before! Lovely environment and atmosphere too. Loved our visit!

I spent some time searching for a dog friendly pub and stumbled across this pub about 20 minutes drive from where we are currently staying. I can honestly say, it was more than worth the drive! The food was absolutely delicious, service attentive and welcoming and they even had a water bowel and treat at the table for our dog. Certainly an amazing little find and can’t wait to return again in the future!

Beautiful pub inside and out. Very friendly staff and a good choice of food and beers. Wye valley beer in particular was very tasty. Been a couple of times and not disappointed on any occasion. Sister pub to Hand and Trumpet which is also excellent

We had the Korean Fried Broccoli (my friend said it was delicious) and the Harrisa Sweetcorn Ribs - totally disappointing and way to costly (£525 / $6.22) for 1/2 an ear of corn quartered. For the main meal we had the steak burger, braised shoulder of lamb, sticky lime and ginger chicken, and the steak, smoked bacon, and venison pie. They were all excellent! The service was very good and the women bar tending and/or the manager was extremely welcoming and a kind. The building itself is worth the visit.

In the area viewing houses, I have noticed that on passing on the odd occasion, the car park appears to be busy, so stopped for lunch, staff very welcoming, noticed a good selection of cask ales and tradional ciders at the bar, we were quickly seated and order taken, been longing for a good tadional pie, well wasn't disappointed here 10 out of 10, which I would say for the whole of the meal, certainly call back again

Well kept beer, friendly helpful staff and an interesting menu. The pub itself has different areas decorated to attract most people. The food is well cooked but if there is anything I could change, the portions are a bit small. As often in the area it is dog friendly and has a large car park.

Absolutely fabulous. We've never been before, but will most certainly be back soon.. Lovely staff, certainly the lady who served us. What a lovely person. All staff had a lovely attitude and smiling.Great afternoon. Thank you to all. See you soon. Dawn and John Miller. Grindley Brook 😂... Food was exemplary. Ox cheeks WOW and not something I would have ever chosen. So glad I did

The Combermere Arms, at Burleydam is so worth a visit. A very old, beamed and panelled interior, so full of character. The menu is changed on a daily basis. Obviously have a very good chef, as food is hot, well presented and tasty, along with excellent portions. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely sitting out areas to the front and rear, along with a large carpark and toilet facilities. Lovely to have this 10 mins from home.

The food was very good, and staff were also friendly. Good size car park. Prices were good and I'll be going back here again. The main entrance do have a few steps, if you use a wheelchair better check if there is another entrance.

Absolutely fantastic night at the Combermere Arms celebrating our engagement, staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was ever too much trouble. My fiancé is coeliac and the choice was second to none. Food was hot and so tasty, and I felt like I was robbing them when i got the bill for the experience we had had! The team should be proud and keep doing what you do as it was fantastic!

What an absolute gem of a place! We recently stayed at Combermere Abbey so ventured here for a few drinks and dinner. We had such a lovely time that we ended up staying for hours and even returned again the next day! Beautifully decorated and the staff are simply wonderful. Special shout out to the landlady (I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name), we really enjoyed chatting with you. The food was also delicious and very well priced, plus I thoroughly enjoyed trying lots of different gins! Thanks for making our few days away extra lovely. When we're back in the area we'll certainly be returning!
