I spent some time searching for a dog friendly pub and stumbled across this pub about 20 minutes drive from where we are currently staying. I can honestly say, it was more than worth the drive! The food was absolutely delicious, service attentive and welcoming and they even had a water bowel and tre
Beautiful pub inside and out. Very friendly staff and a good choice of food and beers. Wye valley beer in particular was very tasty. Been a couple of times and not disappointed on any occasion. Sister pub to Hand and Trumpet which is also excellent
We had the Korean Fried Broccoli (my friend said it was delicious) and the Harrisa Sweetcorn Ribs - totally disappointing and way to costly (£525 / $6.22) for 1/2 an ear of corn quartered. For the main meal we had the steak burger, braised shoulder of lamb, sticky lime and ginger chicken, and the st

Well kept beer, friendly helpful staff and an interesting menu. The pub itself has different areas decorated to attract most people. The food is well cooked but if there is anything I could change, the portions are a bit small. As often in the area it is dog friendly and has a large car park.

The food was very good, and staff were also friendly. Good size car park. Prices were good and I'll be going back here again. The main entrance do have a few steps, if you use a wheelchair better check if there is another entrance.
