Spent an evening here with some friends, good traditional pub food and local beer. Portions were generous and food well cooked. The pub is very clean and staff welcoming, we will certainly visit again!!!
Absolutely brilliant! Great food and great service. We will be back with more friends!!
Visited after a lovely walk along the Thames. Super traditional country pub, great value straightforward bar food, superb beer and friendly hosts
Beautiful pub on a quiet road, friendly staff and locals with a good selection of beers...and I can vouch for the seriously delicious Coppa Di Parma pizza! Been a while since I've been here...won't be so long until my next visit.
One of our favourite Morris nights. Back to being a real local pub. Good ale, no nonsense food, darts and a new landlord making a real go of it.
Classy, spotlessly clean local serving a great pint of 'Good old boy'. A real pleasure.
Excellent pub, great food!
Greatly improved pub. Very friendly to morris dancers and their local audience. Good ale from a surviving West Berks and the Loddon breweries. Ample parking.
Warm, friendly service... what more does one need 👍
I only stopped for a pint, but friendly staff, comfortable, great garden and outside seating for families and dogs (dog friendly pub). I don't think they're offering food at the moment but they have the usual bar snacks.
Good remote pub
Brilliant little out of the way country pub. Lovely garden for when the sun is shining! Easily the best pub in Hill Bottom!
We were walking @dougalTheDog and looked for nearby pub. The Sun had a good review and so we walked there through some amazing scenery. Surprisingly including some of the cutest fluffy Lammas that we have ever seen. Alice the landlady was wonderful and greeted us all with warmth and affection.
