Visited several times during our short trip to Whitby- the delicious cocktails kept drawing us back!
The food is lovely too, my burger was great and the chips were lovely.
The cocktails were made fresh by the talented bar staff and the servers were extremely attentive, chatty and friendly. The decor is gorgeous and it really felt like a treat to be there.
When we turned up to get a drink it was closed. Text the number on the website and didn't get a reply until 4 days later. By which point we had gone gome, however we were advised that they close on Mondays and Tuesdays, which was posted on Facebook. I don't have facebook anymore and many others may not have it, so how would we have known. Maybe a new sign up outside on the gates up to the bar would be a good idea for those who don't have social media. As Google showed open every day.
Once we did finally visit, the cocktails were awesome , food was good, felt it was pricey but as a treat it was fine. I couldn't afford that all the time.
A nice balcony however thr weather was a little wet so sat indoors which was beautiful
Fabulous decor ! Fantastic cocktails! We ordered lots of drinks then returned for a meal during the evening.
The staff are very friendly and will make different cocktails if they are not on the menu .
We arrived in Whitby on Monday and according to the website it was open , it actually opened on the Wednesday.
The staff said it had not been busy as it was early March so had remained closed .
So glad it opened as we were travelling home on the Thursday.

Great atmosphere with really helpful staff! Once inside, you will see the huge selection of spirits with the bartenders creating cocktails. We were quickly found a seat by a really friendly doorman and were glad to find the place wasn't packed to the rafters.
Great place, well positioned with a balcony to sit and watch the world go by.
Very enjoyable experience, staff took the time, must also add the security staff were very welcoming and helpful. Good night, ended up staying for an extra round 😁
We ate at Macy Brown's twice. When staying in Whitby for one week. The food was delicious and staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended you visit for food and drinks.
Had brunch here, the food was delicious, the view was great, atmosphere is super.
I can imagine it’s very nice in the evenings. Cocktail menu looked great.

Amazing cocktails on Sunday night… and I do know what a good cocktail is! 2 of us, 10 cocktails later and we loved it! Thank you to the staff… super friendly and attentive!
Had the best time here. Every cocktail we tried was amazing. The staff were lovely. Will definitely be going again.
