Really lovely place, so glad we discovered it while visiting Whitby! The menu had loads of great choices, plus a children's menu which is ideal for us with little ones! The deep fried brie was really tasty and my husband really enjoyed his fish and chips too. Service was great as well. Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone!

Popped in for Fish and Chips for lunch in a nice sunny and busy day in Whitby. We're seated out the back with plenty of sunshine and views of the harbour. Ford was quick and very tasty!

Lovely cafe, with really friendly and attentive service. We enjoyed the Gothic Afternoon Tea (it's Whitby, in October, it has to be done). Really good choice of sandwiches, the cakes were lovely (the lemon drizzle in particular). Oh my Goodness, the scones were the best I've had. All washed down with a bottle of Whitby Whaler beer for me, and a Prince of Darkness Whitby Gin and tonic for my better half. Great atmosphere, great food and lovely staff. Thank you.

Enjoyed an absolutely flamboyant fish accompanied with some fluffy gorgeous, chunky chips, whilst my best friend indulged into some crispy, exotic onion rings. The Mushy Peas I consumed were nothing short of divine. Will definitely be returning. Lovely service and atmosphere to enlighten the mood. Furthermore, The homemade fruit scone I devoured, coated my mouth like a thick duvet BEST MEAL EVER😝🍳 In conclusion, would i return? without a shadow of a doubt.

Walked in on the off chance they had a table. So glad we did. Lovely food ( we had scampi & chips). Had several Whitby gins to try, so I had to try one! Very nice. Very friendly staff and dog friendly too. Perfect lunch

A superb find in Whitby. The food, especially the chips, is sublime. Somehow they’ve managed to blend nostalgia for traditional fish and chips with a more modern tea room experience. The staff are excellent too. While the restaurant is dog friendly they are quick to look after customers who are not so keen on eating near dogs (like my young child). This was delicately handled and really added to the overall experience. Well done everyone. We shall certainly be returning!

We took refuge here on a very wet Wednesday afternoon and it was absolutely lovely We had a huge afternoon tea with sandwiches, cake and scones and the teen had chips and beans; all the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The chips were proper "chippy" chips and the scones freshly baked Unlimited refills for our teapots, too! The staff were delightful. The surroundings were very attractive and everything was clean We were even given little carry-boxes to bring home anything we couldn't eat Would definitely recommend! 😊

Popped in for lunch today and it was nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Would highly recommend the red velvet cake, sausage sandwiches and the gluten free ham and cheese sandwich.

We needed a cuppa and a sit down. Though very busy, we were seated fairly promptly. Dog friendly establishment. There is a children's menu (under 10 yrs), and they do both vegan and vegetarian afternoon teas. Good to see these options being proffered. Reasonably priced menu. I would revisit.

Two young men welcoming and serving everyone. They worked together like a well oiled machine. Quick, friendly, efficient. The owner should be very pleased with them! Scone was very good. The Victoria Sponge could have been better with more buttercream (over the whole cake, not just on the edge). It is a nice decorated restaurant/café. The toilet is in need of a touch up!
