A lovely little spot to stop and recharge before walking the hilly streets. Menu was limited as we arrived late in the day, but that's purely a reflection of how popular it is earlier on. Food was quick, delicious and well priced. Cake choice excellent! Dog friendly too provided they aren't too wet. The man working had to serve around 20 people alone, just while we were there, and was still cheerful and welcoming! Would definitely go again.
Fabulous breakfast, nice coffee. The best of British hospitality. The most amazing Big breakfast bun, with masses of black pudding.
Popped in here for a coffee after a day in Robin Hood's Bay. Two Latte's and two slices of cake: £12. Nice little place, I don't think it was there the last time we went.
Visited twice now and each time had great coffee and food. I'm surprised at all the negative reviews on service. Yes the service could be better but I take my hat off to the guy behind the counter. All the different food and drinks they do he's running around doing everything. I'd like to see half of the people leaving bad reviews do that. I was very surprised and excellent service that he even whipped the cream for the scone it wasn't from a jar. Excellent all round I would highly recommend and would always visit.
I stumbled upon this little cafe and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the carrot cake and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The cake was moist and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the cream cheese frosting was heavenly. The atmosphere of the cafe was also really cute and cozy, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by this cafe for a sweet treat and a cozy ambiance.
We had bacon roll and breakfast roll. Absolutely delicious and exelent prices. Highly recommend
1st Class Proper Breakfast Butty ..
popped in this morning with the wife, and we had a proper butty, bacon, sausage and black pudding .. and a grand cup of tea to go with it.
£17 , you can’t go wrong ..
A real nice surprise to come across this little gem on a break on a long walk to this pretty little coastal village. Tiny cafe with about 6 tables inside and 2 outside. A really nice range of teas, coffees, and snacks. Pleasant service. A very tasty orange cake and a hot chocolate came quickly even though it was busy. Could not fault. A visit is highly recommended.
Great place that really knows how to make a coffee - if you’re a coffee lover head for this place.
I am always surprised that more places just don’t offer great coffee and great cake! Sounds simple but you don’t always find it.
There is seating outside on the road as well as inside, or takeaway as we did and wander down to be beach.
I would highly recommend
We went in 5mins before closing but the lady was still happy to serve use coffee & cake, she served use outside as she cleaned inside. Thanks as we really needed it after a 3 mile walk there and had to walk back.
Very busy and the best bacon and egg bap ever!
