We had coffee and a cake each after a brisk walk on the beach. Nice café, good coffee. The Bakewell tart was a little hard on the base but the lemon cake was good. Friendly staff, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, dog friendly. Worth a visit.

Saturday Lunchtime. We found this little gem of a cafe opposite a church. 5 minutes walk from the main shopping areas.
Great prices beautifully decorated and a lovely friendly family business. the quality was superb. watch out for those cakes. yummy.
We sat in the window with poppy (dog friendly) and enjoyed a delicious panini and latte each.

What a wonderful find. While holidaying in Whitby we came across this dog friendly cafe.
The service, the food and the friendly staff, made us return for a second visit.
We even got takeaway salad bowls for an evening meal in our self catering accommodation.
We can not recommend highly enough and we would definitely return if we were in the area again.
Quaint little coffee shop is the tail end of whitby. Scoon is to die for. Prices and atmosphere really good. Clean and fresh looking.
