Really nice pub B&B, room was spacious and recently refurbished to a good standard. Bathroom was large with a nice walk in shower, again done to a really good standard. The food downstairs was amazing, cooked really well with generous portions. We had the lamb/chicken balti double Stilton burger a
Weekend Stay and what a little gem this turned out to be. Lovely comfortable and well appointed room, staff are friendly relaxed and helpful. We had our evening meal there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Pet friendly too so our puppa was welcome and she recommends it too 🐾
Visited on a Sunday A lovely little pub. We got there early enough to get a table to eat around 12.30 within half hour it was busy. Recommend booking if going. Ample sized well presented delicious food. Service was second to non. Young lads waiting on were so polite. Barman very friendly and chatty.
Really enjoyed my overnight stay. Food in the bar was good along with some draught ale. Breakfast was excellent and the room (#4) was very nice and clean with a distant view to Whitby Abbey. Thought it was excellent value and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Fantastic stay. Fair price and the rooms were very modern and comfortable. Food and beer was fantastic too. Short drive from Whitby town centre. Highly recommend!

I really liked this place. York brewery beers, nice wood fired stove and good food in a family run way. Didn't stay here so no view on rooms. Only criticism is that chef had kept the oil too long and you could taste it.
Family Sunday Lunch for 10 people. The food was excellent, the dining room spacious and comfortably warm. Definitely recommend booking as we were there relatively early and it was already filling up. Staff were polite and friendly but not intrusive. Excellent value for money too.
An absolute jem of a pub. Situated in an excellent spot for exploring the area. Lovely staff, lovely couple who own it. Extremely clean room's. Excellent restaurant, food is amazing. The best jam sponge and custard you will ever taste and if you're lucky you might even bump into a TV star 🌟
