Just had a great 2 night stay here. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had everything we needed. On first day we went out around Whitby and then came back to the hotel and an evening meal that was excellent and not over priced. Breakfast included in the price was very good. We will definitely returning in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful place, no issues at all. Up high over looking the sea and a golf course. The full venue and room were really clean. Staff all friendly. Food and drink all very nice. 25 minutes walk to the pier. My partner and I are hopefully going to look at staying there in the summer.

Beautiful spot and really comfy bed. There wasn't a vegan option for breakfast and when we made an amendment it came out wrong, but the breakfast we got was still nice. Nice walk into town and overlooking the beach, so lovely views.

Sited a 20 minute walk along cliff path or road to the main centre or 5 minutes to the beach. Has one of the greens from the golf course on the other side of the fence. Has 11 ensuite rooms. No radiator on our shower room (room 3) means you need to keep the door open to get heat in from the bedroom. Very cold otherwise (in March). Large room although a few small details need looking at - no sink plug, shower door doesn't fully close, lamp shade is holey. Breakfast was fine, standard fare, with good views to the coast or golf course. Reasonably priced.Good service from staff.

Had an afternoon tea here. A great range of goods on the tray. Lovely sandwiches! It was quite cream heavy which didn't suit my palate but the other ladies loved it! Staff very friendly and refills on tea offered frequently, which I did enjoy 🙂

A Sunday roast after walking from Whitby. 2 of us had the small roast dinner 1 had the large. The large had one extra roast potato..and not really enough veg for 3 dinners sadly.

Blowing a gale outside so a friendly pub and a roaring fire was welcome. We had dinner in the bar area, which is dog friendly. Left full to brim, after a proper homemade pie! Good beer too.

The White House boasts spectacular views of the coast from Whitby to Sandsend. Fabulous for outdoors in lighter and brighter weather. Indoors, there is one area of seating with spectacular views, a dining room and a bar area. Food is well cooked, delicious and generous portions. Good service too.

There were 6 of us and we had a lovely table in the window. The food was delicious, chicken burgers, meat pie and a mushroom stroganoff all well presented and freshly cooked. Prices reasonable too. Good service.

Much better food and service under new management. Really enjoyed the food. No alternative milks for coffee, still though. Wheelchair accessible loo. Off and on street parking.

Perfect location ..plenty of parking. Quiet location Friendly staff...fish dinner delicious. Breakfast was substantial maybe a little overdone the full English . Husband had the grilled kippers he said were delicious. Room had special little touches sofa table and chairs comfy bed.with outstanding views from balcony.. Glad dogs were not in the dinning room or allowed to sit on the chairs . Only thing the bath was deep and getting out of the shower I could have done with a handrail.will def stay again .
