Started here with breakfast which was absolutely delicious well worth the price me and my partner had our breakfast then we came back for dinner due to the service we received here from both members of staff would highly recommend them to anyone who is visiting or staying in Whitby to go here and if the owner is reading this thank you for a lovely time in your cafe we came in on the 22/3/23
Lovely little Cafe and friendly staff. Always feel welcome. Have visited with older family members, one using a wheel chair and our Grandchildren, one in a push chair, and always accommodated us. High chair was available for our youngest.
Lovely food, homemade quiches, salads, sandwiches and crab dishes when available.
Good prices too. £5 - £8 for a main meal.
Sometimes it's nice to visit Whitby and not have fish and chips!

My husband and I have just eaten at Jane's Kitchen....what an absolutely beautiful place !! The establishment is spotless clean...very efficient attentive staff and wonderfully home cooked food. Will definitely return again if visiting Whitby again
What a lovely little cafe!
On a recent family day out in picturesque Whitby, we found ourselves in need of a lovely cuppa and a slice of cake to keep our spirits high and energy up. We've passed by Jane's Kitchen many a time we've been in the town, but decided that this time we'd have to give them a try.
Despite such a small location, the team has made a great use of the available space, with comfortable seating afforded at a handful of tables. The food, drinks and snacks on offer are delicious and lovingly prepared by friendly staff, with prices reasonable to all pockets.
Having enjoyed an array of cakes, toasties and drinks, we would definitely recommend popping into Jane's Kitchen if you're in need of some well deserved sustenance in the gorgeous port of Whitby.
Delicious fresh Whitby crab sandwiches, and milkshakes. A nice and relaxed place to eat with a good vibe, also nice friendly staff.
Great food , often visit when at Whitby. I added a couple of sausages to the standard breakfast
Super friendly and really great food. I felt as if I'd been going there regularly. Chat with staff like old friends. Food was so so tasty. Breakfast and pot of tea enough for two cups was just what I needed.
Really liked this place. A nice atmosphere and lovely staff. The coffee was good and we had a fresh crab meat sandwich. This was truly 👏!! What's needed for a 5* review? The cake selection looked absolutely brilliant. Sadly though, they just didn't live up to their appearance. Still: loved this place and would highly recommend a visit
Little stop off for a well deserved Hot Cup of Tea before starting our walk around Whitby for the Day. What a lovely little find this place was and definitely Hugh on my list to visit. You step in and despite size it's so cosy and welcoming. Staff are amazing and polite with a smile. Definitely my go to Stop.
Nice little cafe in one of the little lanes in Whitby. Very clean and a good range of snacks...not the most attentive...one guy left as he waited and waited and didn't get acknowledged whilst the only waitress was attending to another table. Mum had a lovely crab sandwich..I had a very nice panini..chips slightly under done tho
This small, spotlessly clean cafe is a gem.
Friendly staff, good service, great food at reasonable prices and most of their produce is locally sourced from local producers so they are doing their bit for the local community and cutting down on their carbon footprint.
I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.
Brunch. Greasy spoon done right. Actually that's a little unfair it's better than that. Sausages, always the acid test of a decent breakfast, were butchers not nasty cheapo ones. Bacon was cooked properly with the fat crisped AS IT MUST BE and all elements were really good. And extremely good value. Great stuff.
Excellent service. Very enjoyable Crab sandwiches. With side salad. Lovely cafe.
