Terry's Restaurant - Whitby - Photo album

After a quick look at the menu we decided to try this place for lunch. Wanting to have something more than fish and chips we ordered the seafood platter for 2. It was lovely but the reason for 4 stars was simply it wasnโ€™t hot. Warm mussels arenโ€™t the best which was a shame really. It all tasted nice
We went to Terry's for late lunch while on holiday and visiting Whitby. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even bringing a water bowl for our greyhound to have a drink, Yes they allow dogs inside. Would highly recommend ๐Ÿ‘Œ. We will be going back.
One of the best if not the best of outside London haddock fish and chips I've had. Omg. The restaurant was well decorated and had a good seating layout. Well spaced. The staff were friendly. Prices were well balanced for the amazing meal we had. Platter for two is well worth it. ๐Ÿ˜ HIGHLY RECOMMEND โญ
Thought we would treat ourselves while in whitby and I had the cod and chips and daughter had chicken nuggets and chips both where very good friendly helpful staff and really enjoyed it
Had read mostly positive reviews and knew was dog friendly throughout so suited us. Efficiently seated and served by lady running the front of house...she was welcoming and also chatty with locals & us 'grockles'. Son proclaimed the best calamari rings ever...they were a highlight, 2 portions, 1 s
Great Food, amazing staff 10/10 My go to chippy at Whitby and the Food is amazing and very fresh , wait times are never long and the. Staff are super helpful and friendly. , the place is very clean and modern Recommend trying :)
Good quality fish and chips here and good portions to eat in or take away. Dogs are welcome inside too. Staff were all very friendly and service was very quick, even though they were busy.
We had a wonderful meal at Terrys restaurant this evening. It was a really cold day in Whitby and we were just about to go back to the car to head home when we passed what looked like a lovely place AND they were dog friendly too! Staff were all absolutely fantastic from the moment we walked in. We
Amazing restaurant, food was immense ( we had the shared platter for 2.) The only criticism and not that it really matters. Not a massive selection of alcholic drinks, as I expected more choice from the restaurant side but wouldn't stop us from going again.
First time I've visited Whitby and I promised myself fish and chips. Eventually we stopped at "Terry's" and my god the fish and chips were good. By taste I'd say they were cooked in beef dripping. Not a hint of grease, excellent ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Ps anyone looking at my picture, that's not grease, it was chucking
Great fresh fish cooked to order. The portions were spot on for me, I hate those massive plates. Not cheap but quite a nice little place.
Visited today for lunch while I was in Whitby witth a friend. Absolutely top class service, everyone was so friendly and enjoyed a beautifully cooked Seafood Platter. Thank you for such a warm welcome.
We visited on New Year's Day when they were really busy. Fantastic food, we didn't have to wait very long the service was brilliant and the front of house lady was so welcoming. Definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back soon
Between two of us we had the seafood platter with mushy peas and chips to share. The fish was super fresh, the service was fantastic. Great value for money and delicious food!
Great quality food, nice atmosphere and very polite staff I would recommend it to anyone visiting Whitby. 9/10 personally larger portions sizes on the chips but still filled me up.
