I’ve lived just outside the Whitby area my whole life and I had no idea that this cafe existed. My partner suggested we go as we were working out in the area and get a coffee. We had a really yummy breakfast today at Coast! The Avo Feta Smash is sooo delicious 😋 And one of the best coffees in the Whitby area!! We can totally recommend.

Called here as a halfway point on the Cleveland Way Coastal Walk. On the cliff top there is a sign saying cafe. From the coastal path you walk up a very steep hill, through a very steep campsite and eventually you are there. I consider myself quite fit but even I was out of puff!

Lovely place to take a break from the Cinder Trail or the Cleveland Trail. It's not far off from either. They have a wonderful outdoor space, with comfortable chairs and sofas to sit on and the staff were warm and inviting. We only had drinks, but the menu looked to have a nice variety.
We were staying on site and had breakfast one morning and some drinks in the afternoon. The stotties were very big and really nice, as were the cakes. Thanks!
I’d like to start by saying I have 31 years of expert eating experience. Under new ownership the food here is absolutely insane. We had the meze starter & bruschetta and it was perfect in every way. The food is cooked fresh & tastes amazing. Well done & we will be back tomorrow 😃
