Wow! Quirky, eclectic, fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, generous portions, beautifully cooked and tasty food, honest, unpretentious and very reasonably priced. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Attentive staff too...I dropped my fork on the floor and the waitress came over with a new one for me in a really subtle and unobtrusive way. We've been to Whitby a half dozen times before and haven't noticed this place before but, now that we have, it will be a must-visit for next time. Thank you for a fantastic evening 😁
Huge pizzas from a huge wood fired oven. Great atmosphere and service. Just been back and it's still just as good. Enormous calzone this time, which was delicious. Crispy and gooey. Love it.
5 of us came here for a ladies meal out. Between us we had 3 different meals with a couple of us ordering the same thing. All meals were simply delicious. Portion sizes are generous. The hand cut chips gorgeous and service and drinks selection really good too. As well as the menu choice there are lots of specials to choose from also. Highly recommend.
We booked a table on the mezzanine and it was everything you'd expect. Private, romantic and complete. Fantastic service from the staff and awesome food to complete.
Lovely atmospheric Italian
Great menu,lots of choices.
I went for the Vegetable Calzone and it was amazing- nice touch also to have green olives inside . Highly recommended ,but do book online to guarantee a table.
Staff are superb too.
Lively atmosphere, good choice of food & drinks albeit a bit pricey, friendly staff, good service, nice location, quirky restaurant, gave 4* not 5* as could really do with a refurbishment as a bit worn & grubby in places especially the toilets.
Really great food and service! My partner has a nut allergy. The staff were really helpful and the kitchen was able to cater for him easily. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Whitby. Highly recommend the homemade dough balls!
Very nice food, great location, good service.
Squeezed us in without a reservation which was appreciated! Food was quick and excellent. Service was attentive, and the food was reasonably priced. Overall - very nice.
Really good food at a very reasonable price, be aware they don't mess around with portion sizes. Enough to feed two on a single plate. We had meatballs, lasagna and a calzone. Friendly staff. A great place all round.
The food was lovely and you got plenty of it. The portions are huge. I'm not complaining as I love my food 😋.
Definitely worth a visit and I would book a table so you aren't disappointed if there is no room.
Had a lovely meal, meal sizes are quite large so definitely good value for money. Not expensive at all. Only thing I would say is its abit crammed, but apart from that was a lovely new years eve meal
Booked in for our 2nd wedding anniversary. The sign on the door said please bare with us short of staff, well not a problem. I had the chorizo burger very nice. The staff very attentive and polite. Enjoyed the experience.
