Robertsons Chips Away - Whitby - Photo album

Finally a place in Whitby that doesn't fry in beef dripping! Called in today for a large tray of chips, a very generous portion that me and partner couldn't even finish between us šŸ˜…. The chips were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious, this will be our go-to place from now on whenever we're vis
Good price for a quick takeaway..we enjoyed the tarter & curry sauces just wish the chips were a little crisper, great location!
Delish! Fish is fresh and crispy. The pea fritters are a fantastic choice! BF is Vegetarian and we are so happy to have found this... Staff are very friendly! More power to you !
Great for gluten free! Everything fried in vegetable oil and lots of vegan and veggie options as well. Would recommend the onion rings they are so good!
Even before I could complete , the gentleman on the counter knew we were looking for halal option. Got out fish and chips, veg sausage fried seperately in veg oil. Now coming to the quality, both our orders were fresh, super crisp and superbly fried. Was surprised by the quality and taste of curry s
On a visit to Whitby and decided that Iā€™d try a traditional Fish & Chip shop instead of heading to the tourist spots. Ordered Cod and Chips with the fish being cooked to order. The guys behind the counter were friendly and happy. Good portion of chips and the fish was absolutely delicious, flaked be
Up there with some of the best chips I've ever had. I'm vegan and specifically chose this place as they fry the chips separately and in veg oil. This doesn't affect the flavour or texture in any way though; they were golden and just the right amount of crispy-soggy you want. The homemade mushy peas
Best in the area. Fried in vegitabe oil in separate pans. Well recommend by locals too. Customer service was very helpful asked if we were halal and recommended the way of cooking it. Please ask them to fry in a separate pan.
Overall , good food , fresh fish and vegan / halal friendly which suits me . Well done for catering for us vegans and halal friendly guys .
I was struggling to find a vegetarian/vegan place to eat today in Whitby. Luckily I came across this place who saved my stomach and my lunch! There's a lot of choice (honestly I couldn't decide what to eat, I wanted to try everything!) The food tasted amazing and it was clearly homemade. The quality
My favourite place to have the best fish n chips in Whitby. At a reasonable price, I've been there twice and would definitely recommend anyone to pop in and try
Absolutely scrumptious!! Amazing service, ambiance, decor and most importantly the food!! Spot on! For those with special dietary needs (halal) this is the place to eat, located close to the sea too (walking distance), parking was a 2 minute walk too. Reasonably priced too, actually a bargain when y
We chose Robertson's because of the Vegan menu. The vegan sausage wasn't what we were expecting, being more of a battered bubble and squeak rather than a meat substitute, however they made a pleasant change and were delicious. Absolutely loved the pea fritter which is a battered ball of mushy peas.
