Hadley's Fish & Chips - Whitby - Photo album

Hands down the best fish and chips have had, ever. My partner grew up in a near by town and used to visit regularly as a kid. Since I met her she always said hiw good it was. We took a trip up north to see her childhood home etc and couldn't pass on an opportunity to try it myself. It's safe to say
It was my first visit to Hadley’s Fish & Chips and safe to say it won’t be my last whenever I’m going to Whitby. Greeted with a smile as soon as I entered the restaurant, seated right away and got a menu and order in not long after. The cod was divine and the experience sat in the restaurant was fan
I can’t rate the rooms (didn’t even know it was a hotel) but the fish and chips is the best we’ve had at the seaside for a long, long time. The batter was crispy - no grease, the fish was fresh, peas were tasty etc. Portions were bang on - not as generous as some places, granted, but I’d take this
Great location, just accross the bridge. Very prompt service for taking our order and for food arriving. Food was lovely and fresh. Portion in the image is a small cod. There was a short wait before being seated but that just shows how popular it is.
There are plenty of fish and chips places to choose from in Whitby, but we choose this because it is dog friendly. The service was great, we were sat and served quickly the staff were polite and friendly. The food was good, and the portion size was perfect. If you're having beer on draft, it comes i

The haddock had skin on. Medium cod, chips, peas, bread and proper butter and a tea. All well cooked and quality but ag

Having been establoshed since 1937, Hadleys is a fish and chips institution now here at Whitby. The haddock and chips are sooo nice! I also tried the scampi it was lovely! The qeue outside wasn't bad on easter Sunday. Friendly staff made sure we get seated quickly and got us our order after a short
Couldn't fault our lunch today! Excellent service. Beautiful fish, chips and mushy peas with a slice a bread and pot of Yorkshire tea! Yum
We are regulars to Whitby and always head to Hadley's for our F & C's. Tasty, generous sized fish, lovely chips. Staff helpful and friendly and very child friendly. Highly recommend!
Great place for a properly traditional Fish and Chips lunch. Lovely food, great service and very reasonable prices given the central location.
Good fish and chips. Nice restaurant. A little pricey.
Excellent quality service and excellent quality fish and chips. A bonus was it was dog friendly
Lovely fish and chips and very clean in the restaurant. Staff helpful and friendly. Also one of the few dog friendly ones in Whitby so it was perfect
