Really nice spot for lunch! I would recommend the oysters, they were so fresh. I also had the dressed crab, it wasn't something I personally enjoyed as it was cold and the fries were missing. Also, the salad is dressed in balsamic vinegar. Overall I still would come again.

We had just landed in Whitby and immediately looked at places to eat as it was getting late. We called ahead to ensure they were still serving food! Venturing out in the wind and rain We got there and were greeted warmly and beckoned to sit down. The whole decor was very befitting of the restaurants
Service could not have been more friendly, inviting and engaging. Food was magnificent. I don’t write reviews often, so this is a testament to how great this establishment is. Lots of great places to eat in Whitby, but this one will be memorable for us. Highly recommend!

Can't fault anything, everything we ate and drank was very impressive. We visited in a rainy, windy December and had the best "Old Fashioned" drinks we've ever had, lovely!

The dressed crab was excellent, the battered fish & chips was missing from the menu, and the Supreme Chicken was a bit tart (always have seafood at a seafood restaurant!).
Food was really great, dishes were really decently sized and the staff were very lovely and helpful. Would recommend if you want some more upmarket fish it's definitely worth it.
The Marine in Whitby is a great place to go for lunch and a drink...booking advisable. We booked online, a very easy process and received email confirmation.
You can choose from a set menu or pick your own. We had a Cod, Clam and Haddock Chowder starter and a Seafood Platter each for the main course
Bit expensive but nice food. Have to book in advance. Atmosphere very pleasant
This was the best crab I've ever had! Huge portion, big chunks of crab, full of flavour. Wine was great too. Husband also really enjoyed halibut in gruyère. Would benefit from an extra member of staff but those who served us were great!
