Stayed at Harry’s Bar 13th/14th April, would like to say a huge thank you to the staff, who were very attentive and friendly. Beautiful food, also great options for breakfast, amazing cocktails, and an excellent selection of Gin Our room was stunning, immaculate, comfortable bed, and lovely view. Would definitely recommend!

Can't wait to go back and try the food. Was too busy drinking cocktails to eat, but everything that went by looked amazing. Beautiful inside with very attentive staff. Well worth giving it a try if you are in the area.

We just popped in here for drinks an would definitely recommend this lovely little bar. We have walked passed her a few times as we got the impression from the outside that it was a restaurant only but spotted some people with only drinks. The staff were really nice and friendly. This is definitely on our list of places we would visit again

We want something to eat on a busy bank holiday Saturday afternoon in Whitby and didn’t want fried fish. Harry’s Bar did the job for a very tasty snack. The small (starter) size fish chowder was excellent. I’ve also attached photos of the menu as that doesn’t seem available elsewhere.

Lovely bar on the front, you can eat here but we only had drinks. Atmosphere was good. Staff were very polite and good at the job. We had drinks and cocktails, cocktails were really good, a little expensive but it's not often we have them. Also the visit was made even better by the annual Whitby Santa tractor run, absolute class.

My daughter and I had a short break up in Whitby. The cottage we stayed in (Gulls Cry Cottage ) recommended 'Harry's' as an option for food. We went on the second night and were not disappointed. We had a lovey dinner, cocktails and mocktails so much so we went back the the night after. I will agree with a previous post that the 'Sirloin steak' is not as advertised but it was still very tasty. The food over both nights was vey fresh and very tasty, my daughter loved the the southern fried chicken wrap. What made it special for us was the waitress named 'Carla' she served us both nights and was fantastic, very polite and very professional.

Quite nice. Not the best fish and chips in Whitby (try Trenchers or Papa's) but by no means bad. The staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming, courteous and prompt without being intrusive. The restaurant was clean and well presented. It was school holidays so sitting outside was a bit overlooked as town was very busy but they have done their best to make things nice in the outdoor space.

Could not fault this place. Great location, amazing rooms, great food. We spent our wedding anniversary here this weekend. What made it more special was the wonderful staff. Top customer service by all of them. Will definitely come again.
