This is our favourite pub in Whitby and always our first port of call. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beer is first rate and the Quoff and Scoff menu is excellent. It’s not just my fave Whitby pub it is one of my fave pubs anyway

We initially were just walking past early Saturday morning drawn by the advertising boards outside. We came back after a trip to Sandsend the pub was buzzing and had a huge real open fire, the Endeavour doesn't do food but allow clients to bring in fish and chipsin even providing sauces, salt, vinegar and forks all they ask is you dispose of your boxes in the bins provided over the road. BTW the security guy is a hoot, this wont be our last visit as you are now on our pub trail.

Great little pub, friendly staff and the cellar man knows how to keep beer. Well worth a visit if you're within 30 miles of Whitby. Only downside is not having its own parking, but there are lots of car parks in Whitby to choose from.

Open fire, Gin palace, dog friendly & bring your own chips & they’ll even supply the cutlery & condiments what’s not to love. We’re season residents & it’s our go-to pub. Warm & welcoming it’s a great little pub.

A Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Very welcoming bar maid who chatted to us whilst we were eating our fish and chips. The dog enjoyed the warm fire and the kids loved the colouring. can't wait to return x

Really friendly pub, very welcoming, doesn't do food but allows you to go to chippy and bring food back you just need to clear your rubbish into a bin outside. Great beer at good prices. Allows dogs and has dog treats menu!

Lovely little pub serving a good selection of drinks. The bar man was great. It was a busy Sunday evening, and the bonus was the great live music from Simma - singing and playing acoustic guitar. Fab night, thank you!

Bring your own fish and chips - what an amazing idea!!!! Stumbled across this pub on a cold winters day - lovely atmosphere, great choice of drinks and friendly service! They serve cold food like ploughmans and cheese boards (which is amazing, more pubs should do that) but best of all they let you bring in fish and chips to eat! Dog friendly too with their own doggy menu - wish this was my local!!!!

Well kept ales. Friendly staff. Serve only cold food therefore walk 20 yards and buy fish and chips and eat them inside the pub. Live music on Fridays. Good alehouse. Dog friendly

Lovely friendly pub. We love it here. Stayed 3 nights over the weekend, nothing too much trouble, staff so accommodating and super friendly, dog friendly and can stay in rooms too. Our dog Charlie loves it here and feels so at home, we've stayed in the past, just had a fantastic few days here and will be back again soon hopefully. Take in your own fish n chips or food and enjoy in comfort with a lovely beer, all they ask is that you take your rubbish away with you. So close to all the lovely shops and beach and the 199 steps to Abbey and St Mary's Church. A fabulous place!
