Awesome breakfast and came highly recommended from a friend that holidays in Whitby all the time. The selection of breakfasts and lunches is numerous and very different but with something to suit most. We only went for breakfast, but the burger selection alone looked worth investigating. Very quirky decor and plenty of seating!

I have been to Cranberry Swamp for both dine in and take away and the food and service both match the same quality and love every single time. They have wide range of options based on your dietary preferences/ restrictions. Very warm and pleasant staff. And the place is very Child friendly, Pet Friendly and equally welcoming to both tourists and locals.

First thing on a Monday morning and we were greeted with smiles and a “nothing is too much trouble” attitude which was just what we needed. Crushed Avocado on Toast with Mushrooms and Chilli Flakes… perfectly cooked and presented along with an Oat Milk Latte. We also ordered a full breakfast with a few item substitutions which was no trouble at all with a full dairy latte. Can’t wait to visit again !! 🤩

We came down for Whitby Goth Weekend and came here every morning for the four days for our breakfast. Absolutely wonderful staff, everyone is so friendly and helpful, it was the best way to start every day. The food was gorgeous, with great vegan options for our group. We can't wait to return next time😁

Great selection for everyone, staff friendly, nice place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Superb on alternative selections for people - dairy free, gluten free and the likes of. Really pleased with our visit today, thank you.

Wow! A friend recommended this cute place to us. What a great find. Delicious! The gingerbread spice latte was so fun to get and absolutely scrumptious. I thoroughly enjoyed the Mexican eggs and my husband loved his “hash bun” - bacon, sausage, eggs on a bun. Fresh ingredients. Well prepared. Friendly staff. We’ll be back!

So happy to find this place just strides away from our hotel in Whitby. The ladies were so friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts excellent both for quality and value. I wish we could stay longer and try more of the many options on their menu.

Had a lovely lunch with the family! The whole menu is available as gluten free and everything was delicious. Great for coeliacs and we would recommend the paninis and the iced teas

Sat at the communal table on a very busy Goth Weekend Saturday. Atmosphere was great customers and staff so friendly. Had a Swamp Breakfast (served all day 👍). Good size proper full English. Everything cooked the way I like it and actually listened to my friends special request regarding her eggs as she finds runny egg off putting. Also big plus vegan menu for when I visit with my eldest daughter. Yep full on recommend Everything. Tiny downside for those with mobility issues the toilet is upstairs. It's an old building as to be expected in beautiful Whitby.

Gluten free food is the norm here so you don't feel awkward or special and you can eat without worrying. Fabulous food and lovely laid back atmosphere Today I had a gluten free burger with all the extras. Staff are kind, patient and lovely. Food superb. Please never close. Another year down the line and just as superb as always.
