Humble Pie 'n' Mash - Whitby - Photo album

After watching Gary Eats on YouTube, I wanted to give this place a go. Inside is very quaint, we managed to grab a seat before it got full thankfully. I got the chicken and leek pie which was probably the best chicken and leek pie I have had, it went very well with the mash and gravy. I definitely
A really cozy & interesting place to eat, looking at all the old items found in the building. It was a nice change from all the fish & chip shops. Staff were lovely and service super quick. The portion sizes were generous & tasted so nice! Would definitely recommend, I would visit again in the futur
Had a take away chicken and leek pie. Get your chef kiss out or any other gesture you have for say perfect 👌🤌 was so good I went back and bought two more pies for tomorrow. Some may say bit over the top but I live 1h 20m away so I think it's forward thinking!
Just for a change we said no to fish and chips. Great decision, absolutely one of Whitby's best kept little secrets. Fantastic pies. Great atmosphere and haven't enjoyed pie, peas, mash & gravy like this for years. Homely restaurant, like my grans old kitchen, it's a real trip down memory lane.
Interesting restaurant al based around its own amazing history and set up like a war time cafe. We had the Goats Cheese and veg pie and the chicken leek pie which were both delicious. Big servings and very filling and a good price too. I’d definitely recommend a visit here as the food was great. Onl

The waiter was friendly and polite and seemed to really enjoy his job. The food was amazing, vegan mushroom and ale pi
This was amazing! We are not super hiper pie lovers but I think that we can be now 😀Mega friendly service, great food, beautiful interior, tasty food. Don’t need anything else.
Unique themed cafe with interesting artefact’s from the buildings’ past. 10/10 pies and excellent mushy peas. We popped in on a Friday lunchtime and got a table easily. Great staff - very attentive.
Went to Whitby for the day and had decided to go here before we set off as my partner had been before. Turned up, one table free and the waiter made it suit the 3 of us. Ordered and food arrived quickly. We all had pie, mash and peas. My creamy chicken and leek pie was very good, really tasty. I hav
This restaurant is brilliant, our group of 8 had a fair mix of the pies on the menu and they were all delicious. The steak and ale pie I had was one of the best I've eaten. Lovely atmosphere and the staff catered well for different dietary requirements. I'd definitely recommend it.
