WOW ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL!! I went here with my sister's for a nice sit down brew and scones nicest scones I've ever eaten in my living existence. Came out warm with a little pot of jam and a little pot of butter- cream was also an option I just don't like cream. Poured over the scones bit into them just wow from the very first bite warm, crumbly just the right amount of butter and the jam just the right amount of sweet absoulute perfection. The pot of tea actually stayed hot it made 4 little cups of tea enough for me and my 2 sister's after they both had their own drinks! all in all we had a lovely time would highly recommend 😊. The staff were so friendly and helpful it was just so cosy and nice sitting here for a while watching the world go by. Need to add everything homemade this was amazing they had a large selection of everything hm soup,hm cakes,hm scones and more.
Absolutely brilliant! Stopped for a coffee and scones but would love to try all the other options on the menu, and there were a lot of options!
The coffee was delicious, scones freshly baked and we had a lovely chat with the owner. Service was welcoming and friendly. I'm so happy we discovered this Whitby gem.
Popped in here on a whim and so glad we did! The food was great, the service excellent and cake/teacake was tasty and a really generous portion. Would definitely recommend coming here.
This cafe was without doubt fully worth 5 stars. Dog friendly, very clean and nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and food (we had tea, and scones with jam and cream) is very nice and good prices too. Was popular when we were in and only a small place approx for 12 people. Toilets very clean.
Stumbled across this small but beautifully appointed café at the end of a rather quirky old lane. The interior is rather splendidly decorated and has a relaxed feeling to it. If you're in the area then its well worth a visit.
Opposite the Capt. Cook museum in Grape Lane. The BEST St. Clement's cake I have ever had!
Lovely staff, lovely food, great coffee. Our go to whenever we visit Whitby
Very cozy coffee shop with courtesy staffs, we enjoyed our light lunch to start our trip head to Edinburgh😊
Stopped here for lunch while visiting Whitby - every other cafe we tried seemed to be closed but luckily we found this little gem! Very cosy inside, friendly staff, great menu with lots of choice and really tasty food. Glad we found this place and would definitely return!
Lovely little friendly coffee shop!
called today with our 2 little dogs after getting caught in the rain and was instantly made most welcome
Best flat white coffee this side of the Pennines 😍
And we tried the tea loaf cake with butter and Wendleysdale cheese, we could have ordered 10 portions as it was delicious 😋
Highly recommended this place for a quick stop. Chatting to the owner about proper sugar in things too 👍🏻🥰
Prices as reasonable as can be expected in a seaside town too 🥰

Coffee and Victoria sandwich cake were both gorgeous. A lovely friendly welcome and chat plus a very clean, nicely decorated cafe. We will definitely come back - thank you for your warm hospitality and delicious food &drink!

Only had coffee, but what great coffee. Will definitely go there again when in Whitby.
Beautiful little tea shop . Lovely and quiet place, plus you can take your dog in too . Always come back when in whitby. X
A lovely cafe - cosy atmosphere, friendly staff, and the food was great quality and perfectly cooked. Good value too. A real treat. Very sad that I was too full for cake (all of which looked delicious) but maybe next time!
An amazing find. Awesome coleslaw and fantastic Victoria sponge!
Staff where lovely.
We came in on 30th December, it was pouring of rain outside but it was warm and welcoming inside. I had a cherry and almond scone, and I can’t believe how good it was, I’ve told everyone ( I live in Worcestershire by the way) it’s worth a trip to Whitby just for your scones and cakes.
