Visiting Whitby for the day and decided to look the willow branch up....due to good reviews...nearly missed it because its a hidden gem up stairs ..so glad we found it
Best cream tea ever not only for value but quality and lovely service with a smile
Quirky pots tea home made scones and home ma
Very friendly staff in this "blink and you'll miss it" cafe, tucked away on a corner, less than a minute away from the bridge, with just a front door, leading up the stairs. Nice selection of cakes, traybakes and lots of drinks. They possibly do lunches but we weren't looking so couldn't say for su
We've just had afternoon tea here and it was spot on. Definitely wont be hungry when you leave. We've so taken away some chocolate orange tiffin for later. Added bonus they allowed our two doggies in ♡ thanks Paul, great little place you've got ticked away!!
Fantastic find, great afternoon tea and lovely staff. Dog friendly too 💗🐕🦺
Very nice cafe. Very inviting. Good choices very clean. Clean restrooms. Nice staff and last, but most importantly, the best brownie (with Rolos) I've ever tasted!
Lovely afternoon tea. Delicious cakes and sandwiches. Attentive and helpful staff. Pleasant surroundings. Top quality.
Quaint place with lovely staff. Attentive but without being over fussy. The afternoon tea was delicious with a wide variety of tea available. There was plenty to eat too and all of a high standard. It leant towards sweet items, but boy was it delicious. We couldn't get through it all so I was forced
Had afternoon tea with my family for my birthday! First of all the birthday card on the table was nice to see from the staff there! The choice of teas was amazing i went for the lemon and ginger tea! The afternoon tea it's self out of this world and the staff are so friendly and go the extra mile! c
Lovely tea room tucked away upstairs above the hot roast sandwich shop. Delicious afternoon tea with a fantastic selection of sandwiches and cakes. Great service and the option to have a doggy bag if you can finish your meal.
Absolutly fantastic little place. Pot of pure leaf tea to warm up after windy day out in Whitby. Only down side is one vegan option on menu. They have gluten free and plenty of vegetarian options on menu, my partner enjoyed his ham and cheese toastie....he recommends ginger cake;). Jane is absolutly
We had a fabulous afternoon tea at The Willow Branch, a little cafe tucked away above the shops. Well worth calling in, the staff are polite, service is quick, tea selection extensive and the afternoon tea which included many freshly made items was lovely. There is a good selection of gifts and loca
Lovely nook in the heart of Whitby. Peaceful atmosphere, friendly, welcoming staff and very tasty home cooked food. Great selection of teas & coffee. The toast is huge and the crumpets are perfectly toasted and oozing with butter. Bliss.
A hidden gem. We'd seen good reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to give The Willow Branch a try on our day trip to Whitby. We were so glad we did! Really friendly customer service and the food was delicious. Next time we visit Whitby, we will definitely eat at this cafe again.
Me and my friend came here after receiving bad service at Sherlock's (cafe further up). However, we were given a very warm welcome here at Willow Branch, and so was my little dog. Before we had even sat down a kind lady had brought over a fresh bowl of water for my dog. The mocha i had was delicious
Afternoon tea for four was fantastic. Lovely quiet cafe with homemade cakes and scones that were amazing. Lovely loose tea served in a beautiful teapot. Definitely will return.
Very friendly, and also dog friendly. Great views. Food and drinks were nice but one of the scones was mouldy! Quickly replaced by apologetic staff, and overall we enjoyed it in the end.
This is tucked away but worth looking for. The staff are friendly and efficient. Dogs are allowed. The food is freshly cooked and the avocado with poached egg on a muffin with hollandaise is amazing. Also the toilets are very clean. I would highly recommend this little cafe.
Loved it. Great small tea rooms. Quality of home made products excellent.
Only in Whitby for a week but made many visits the the Willow Branch.
Will be going back on next visit.
Lovely friendly staff.
Very nice tea room, sort of out of the way but a fantastic range of teas and what looked like some delicious cakes (sadly I couldn't indulge as I'd already had ice cream elsewhere). Would go back for one of those cakes though!
