Weather's is cold and very wet, so the warm welcome and stunning full English breakfast have cheered me up. Never seen such a generous plate of food. Roast potatoes instead of hash browns, and poached rather than fried egg. Excellent! Will visit again next time I'm in Whitby.
Very, very good. Snug and cosy, dog friendly café. Friendly and welcoming service. Nota bene: hot food stops being served at 2pm. Incredible range of teas available. Very reasonably priced menu with good choices for vegetarians and vegans. I had the spiced coconut, chickpea and lentil soup which was

Lovely lady and lovely food. We were made most welcome give extra drink because we had to wait. She made our Cocker Spaniels welcome and got them a drink too.
Just had lunch here. Lovely panini and Buddha bowl. Cake was very moist and tasty. Friendly staff. Wish we had found it sooner as off home tomorrow
Staff freindly and acommodating. Only had coffee and cake, as had already had breakfast. Really good coffee and tried a piece of homemade guinness cake, was amazing! My husband not bothered for cake, but tried it, and ended up eating half, it was so delicious.
Had a light lunch here last week. Have to say my Spiced Coconut chickpea and lentil "soup" was exceptional . Very reasonably priced food. Will return when we next visit Whitby
Fab little place for breakfast and more. Great local coffee served and the breakfast menu (til 1130) has great variety. Thanks to all at Beckett's
