I recently stayed at this great establishment with my wife and parents. From start to finish the owners and staff could not be more accommodating. The food was terrific and it was great to see that they were getting into the Halloween spirit! I would highly recommend this place to anyone 👍🏼

We went the for a family meal to celebrate my grandson's first birthday the food was amazing bar staff where grate. Unfortunately one customer took it upon himself twice to try and tell a 1 year old to be quite and stop making noise. Could not fault the manager as he came over and said my grandson

Lovely garden with off street parking. Interior decor is nice although we didn’t eat inside.
Food was nice went with the owners recommendation of the curry which was tasty. Wife had a prawn sandwich and little man had kids chicken nuggets.

The meat is juicy, and the portion size is quite generous. It's served with grilled tomato, onion rings, mushrooms, salad, and chips.

The best food+service I've had in a while.
I had sausage and mash+extras and it was proper home/pub cooked food. No ping (microwave) food. Outstanding pub. Definitely a must visit.
Just stopped here for one night. Service was exemplary and super friendly. Great breakfast with locally sourced meat and bread. Nothing too much trouble.

Extremely yummy food, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Dogs welcome. Don't know about the rooms as I live just round the corner. Would highly recommend. Also has a nice outside seating area, which is great in the summer. And it's right on the doorstep of ZSL Whipsnade zoo.

This is a review for the pub, and it's a great pub! We strolled past it on an early Sunday stroll and the landlord served us before the pub was even open. Great service and very accommodating 😁
