One of the best down to earth, feel good places to eat Brunch in this country. No idea if breakfast was healthy or not, but was delicious and the coffee worth driving miles for. Zelda enjoyed the warm friendly atmosphere. Not sure about the dry toilet. Thankfully others available
Amazing! Wonderful! Not to be missed. Went for brunch, had a delicious and fresh meal, perused the beautiful pottery. You must visit this place today!
This has to be the best place for brunch around. My favourite Sundays are spent starting out at the straw kitchen. Amazing coffee, amazing flavours and a great team of staff in a beautiful location.
One of my fav places, great veggie options as well as good for meat eaters. Atmosphere is fab! Flavours are Devine, faces always smiley. Downside is it can be crowded at times because it has such good food !
Such a pleasure to visit this place.....always welcomed with a smile and the food is excellent....love the rustic ambience which makes it extra special 💙
A fantastic gem of a bohemian restaurant surrounded by beautiful nature! Reminiscent of one of my favourite spots Tarifa and the Costa de la Luz in Southern Spain.... in fact I was transported there during an afternoon eating lunch in good company! Tasty fresh food! Highly recommended!👍☮️🌞❤️
Quite possibly the best bacon sandwich in the world
Heard about this place from a freind. Lovely place food was awesome nice and friendly staff
Fabulous brunch really liked this place everything home made and home grown
Very 70s and retro! Had the most amazing apple (substituting for pear today) cinnamon & cardamom cake. Do you disclose the recipe?
Really lovely lunch today. Very good catering for my coeliac/vegetarian needs. Thank you.
Lots of fun for our girls running around outside and stroking the very gentle horses.
Wow - what a find, lovely fresh food, good service and quintessentially a real English offering.

Lovely, friendly cafe- really funky vibe. I see something different each time!! The Eccles cakes were simply amazing
Amazing food, wonderful people and a real oasis of calm . I always come out of the Straw Kitchen a little happier! You must go!
Gorgeous place to sit and watch the world go by. The food is always excellent, with the menu changing regularly and including lots of seasonal delights. My children really enjoyed the kids menu because it included both well known favourites and also smaller plates of the regular menu. Despite being very busy, food was delivered quickly and the plates were just beautiful... Sorry no photos, because we all tucked in without delay! Everything is served on pottery from Whichford Pottery on the same site. Great atmosphere and lovely staff, who are all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Last but not least, the coffee is top notch, especially if you treat yourself to a homemade peanut butter cookie to go with it 👌
What a great find this place is! This place combines healthy modern brunch combos with huge plates and nice coffee, and allows you to add extras as you desire. There's a practical kids menu too. Lots of seating inside and out, books, board games and a log fire. Lots if fruendly and efficient staff when I went. Can't recommend highly enough
The food is absolutely out of this world! Staff are super friendly and it’s all sustainably sourced! On a dry day, great seating outside. If it’s wet, head indoors.
What an unique cafe / food place. Totally magical and full of zest. There was some nice relaxing funky soul music gently playing on the background and together with the funky deco, lovely weather, nice people and gorgeous food, I even enjoyed a short "siesta" outside on a wooden bench, next to some beautiful flowers and enjoying the sun kiss with a blissful breeze.
This was on a June's Friday afternoon just after work, when I had the urge to discover The Straw Kitchen magic place. I rode through narrow countryside lines away from busy roads and enjoyed my ride up and down the rolling hills and through lovely villages (from Leamington Spa).
Excellent healthy food and drinks bursting with flavours. Loved it!!
After the long freezing winter, the Straw Kitchen is finally open in spring time. My sister and I can’t wait to visit it.
This is a sunny Saturday, the restaurant is full of people. Many people bring their kids and dogs here to enjoy the good sunshine.
There is a outdoor area, we enjoyed the food there, watching the children playing and the dogs barking to each other. It’s fun!
Food is nice, I ordered the soup as it’s made by Ukrainian green lentil. My little support to the Ukraine. Sister loves her beetroot feta too. It’s beautiful and yummy!
We have been to the straw kitchen dozens of times and always enjoyed the food, people and vibe. Today I had the bangin’ broth which was one of the best taste experiences ever - absolutely fabulous thank you.
This is a magical oasis! Excellent food in generous portions. Good coffee. Outdoor seating, shaded or just chuck a blanket on the grass. The staff are super friendly and helpful. There's live acoustic music and it is just one of the best spots I've visited in a while. I'm definitely going back soon and if you have time, you really should too! Try... everything!
Without question, our best dining experience in 50 days of travel in the UK. Excellent coffee and truly excellent food, combined with a superb atmosphere and comedic service. Lots of back-chat, and generally happy vibes.
Cluttered-but-clean dining tables scattered around wherever they fit, noisy customers and the staff buzzing around, all add to the amazing atmosphere. Come here on a Saturday morning as we did, and sit and watch it all going on around you - while tucking in to the Meze Plate. We ordered both versions: Vegetarian/Vegan and the steamed chicken option (with added chorizo...). Just delicious! The coffee was so good that I ordered a take away to drink as we perused the wares in the pottery shop.
We loved this place. We first visited at the beginning of our holiday, and couldn't wait to come again.
We weren't disappointed...
A lovely place to visit. Excellent really interesting food. All the staff were pleasant and friendly.
Absolutely lovely a rare find, quirky, inviting, lovely staff and delicious food. Stumbled across this little gem whilst visiting the local distillery and it was a total treat Thanks!!!!!
