Lovely local cafe with delicious coffee, pastries and sandwiches! I am not from the area but always make sure to visit when I’m nearby. Highlights for me include the oat milk latte, cinnamon buns, sausage rolls and bacon egg baguette. My kids love the cookies. Staff are lovely, service is friendly a
What a gem! Fantastic local bakery with amazing coffee. Love that it’s dog friendly too! The biscuits on top of the coffee are such a treat. Would love to see a cheese twist or a veggie sausage roll on offer.
The best bakery ever - the custard pastries are the best I have tasted. Staff are so friendly too. I haven’t had their drinks but I clocked a watermelon iced green tea which I need to try! Only downside (and this is not their fault!) is the parking. There is a nursery next door and without fail, e
Dear owner, lovey coffee and delicious cake but no recycling. I asked staff if they would recycle my paper cups and bags and the cans I noticed in your bin and was told no. Please think about making this a priority, it’s not hard to do. I took my cups home but not all customers would be willing to d
Aways enjoy the freshly. made Baguettes/Cakes etc, but find the staff lacking in social skills , no friendly exchange of banter, or even a smile...it's one of the free things in life...🙂
Amazing choice for a delivery! BEST Sausage, Egg and Bacon Baguette ever - a must try. No other bakery compares to this breakfast as not too salty and good quality bacon. A cappuccino each to finish it off. . . . but the treat didn't stop there. Their Bakewell tart with almonds was a different leve
Nice bakers with tables outside, a good sausage baguette too refuel halfway through bike ride.
One of the best bakeries with excellent bread, delicious pastries, friendly staff and a nice little seating area.
Great bread however they should do payment plans or mortgage advice as the prices are eye watering. £5+ for a loaf! If you bought sandwiches for the family you could have a sit down meal in the pub over the road for the same price.
Excellent coffee, exceedingly good cakes too! 28/08/2023 update: Steak slices lovely, also had exceptional carrot cake. There is now additional seating area next to river, but we took our lunch round the corner to the community Crinkle Crankle garden which has plenty of benches and is a real sun-
Perfect stop for a bite after the Wheathampstead Heritage Trail. Delicious coffee, hot chocolate, sourdough toasties and an almond bread pudding that was so good we bought a second piece to take home! Lovely all round.
So loafing has very much become one of my Saturday morning pre hockey match routines...it’s a delight to find such a lovely small business and it’s a greater to support them...I’ll be seen ordering my sausage and egg roll and latte every Saturday during the season!
A great little bakery I go out of my way to visit.
Lovely place for coffee and eats, with an added bonus of friendly staff to make your day brighter
great place to grab pastrys, coffee and other deliciously tasty things.
The best brownies I've ever had in my life! I hope they win an award for their brownies one day, they are so fresh and decadent. Thank you to such an amazing friendly team for the love they put into making them!
Always good food ,and bread ! The bread pudding is the best in Hertfordshire !!!!!
